the cozy house on 5th

The Cozy House on 5th was our first home, where we started our family, and we’re delighted to share it with you! Carefully curated to be comfortable, beautiful, convenient and family-friendly, it’s only minutes from downtown Rapid City, 4 blocks from the hospital and has quick access to the highway taking you to all the Black Hills staples: Mount Rushmore, Custer, Sylvan Lake & more. Enjoy a long, private 5-car driveway for parking, too! It’s the perfect landing zone for your adventures in the Hills!

Our home features a nice size yard with outdoor dining and fire pit, a full remodeled kitchen, cozy living room with a very large flatscreen tv, a full bathroom with shower and bathtub, and two bedrooms: one master with a king bed and one guest room with a twin bed. Each room has been thoughtfully designed with your comfort and convenience in mind - all home essentials have been curated so you can really feel like home at our Cozy House on 5th. We’ve done almost all of the work on this home ourselves, so it’s very cute but not perfect! There are some paint touch-ups needed, a few outlets don’t work (additional power strips are placed around strategically and conveniently to make up for those!) and the yard is being reseeded summer of 2026.

There are 5 parking spaces on the house’s long gravel driveway - it’s very ideal if you have a trailer or additional vehicles! There is also additional free adjacent street parking if needed.

The yard has been redone with a picnic table area, fire pit area, a patio and lawn (*as of August 2026 the lawn portion of the yard is being re-seeded, so the lawn will not be usable until after November 2026 - the picnic area, fire pit and patio will still be available for use).
