With our Sonnentau vacation home, we offer you a peaceful and comfortable stay in the very heart of Burg Spreewald.
The vacation home is located on a quiet residential street right in the center of Burg. It features an ideal floor plan for a vacation with 3–4 people, and with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, it’s also perfect for couples traveling together.
The house is all on one level and features high-quality, cozy furnishings. Exposed wooden beams in the kitchen, living room, and the large bedroom create a particularly cozy atmosphere.
When the Bludniki House is combined with the Sonnentau House, it creates the ideal setting for families of friends or parents with their children and grandchildren to vacation together. Everyone has their own living space, and you can set out on adventures together. Nothing stands in the way of enjoying breakfast together on the extra-large terrace. Combined, both houses are ideal for up to 8 people. The property is enclosed by a fence. There are 2 parking spaces directly next to each house.
You can relax and enjoy your vacation on the large terrace, and within just a few minutes you’ll be at the bakery, the ice cream parlor, or the nearest restaurant. The harbor is about a 3-minute walk away. It’s about a 15–20-minute walk to the Spreewaldtherme.
Thanks to its central location, this is an ideal starting point for exploring the Spreewald. The Spreewald’s excellent network of bike trails begins right outside your front door. If you ever find yourself at a loss for where to go (which is quite unlikely), the tourist information office is just a 3-minute walk away—perfect for getting some new ideas.

Our vacation apartments and houses are individually and lovingly designed on large lots with access to gardens. While the Babow vacation rental features a pool in front of the house and a playground and beach volleyball court next door, the “Zum Schober” vacation rental in Burg entices guests with a wellness spa including a sauna and direct access to the river. The property has a rustic charm, overgrown with old oak and alder trees, and offers the perfect setting for a Spreewald vacation on 1,200 square meters. You can rent a paddleboat within walking distance at the Lukas Boathouse.
Our twin houses, Bludniki and Sonnentau, are located in the heart of Burg Dorf on a quiet side street. From here, you can reach all restaurants, the harbor, and even the bakery within a 5-minute walk, and easily set out on your bike tours along the Spreewald’s well-developed cycling network.
After your explorations, spacious terraces invite you to relax, and the houses pamper you with a cozy and high-quality living atmosphere.
With our Kabeja vacation home (Eichelhäher), we offer you an idyllic setting and comfort on a 946 m² lot with mature trees. The property is located on the outskirts of Burg in a small, very quiet neighborhood with a total of 6 houses. It is accessible via a residential/bike path.
Another gem is our Kupa house. The name is Sorbian and means “island.” The cottage is located directly on Kauper Island in a small settlement consisting exclusively of weekend homes. Cozy, with a thatched roof and equipped to the latest standards, this cottage welcomes guests even in winter. From here, you can set out directly on your canoe trips on the Kleiner Fließ; canoes can be rented at the Waldschlößchen harbor and the Kleiner Hafen. Both harbors are within walking distance.
You can explore the Spreewald by bike via a well-developed network of bike trails, by barge, or by paddleboat. In nearby Vetschau (10 km), you’ll find, among other things, a well-maintained outdoor swimming pool. In addition to the thermal baths in Burg, Lübbenau and Cottbus (20 km) are home to the Spreewelten and Lagune recreational pools, respectively. Also worth visiting in Cottbus are the Art Nouveau Weltspiegel movie theater, the zoo, the famous Branitz Park, Europe’s only Art Nouveau theater, and various other cultural and recreational attractions.
For hot summer days, we recommend the water playground on Lübben Castle Island. In Cottbus, a ride on the park railway is well worth it. Tropical Islands is about 40 km away from us, and the Eurospeedway Lausitzring is about a 1-hour drive away.
The cultural cities of Dresden, Potsdam, and Berlin are also only about an hour’s drive away.
Guests of all ages can have fun on the summer toboggan run in the town of Teichland.
For sauna enthusiasts, we recommend the Kristallsauna at Spreewelten Lübbenau and the sauna at Spreewaldtherme Burg.
