About this house rental
The ranch house sleeps up to eight people, is dog-friendly, has all brand-new appliances, all new windows, two large front porches, two soapstone wood stoves, jaw-dropping mountain views, total privacy, insane star-viewing, and roaming bison as your neighbors.
Our recently renovated ranch house is located on a quiet, dead-end dirt road and is fenced off from the rest of the ranch (so while there will be bison roaming around, they won’t be on the front porch!). The ranch house farmstead is approximately 5 acres and has a creek flowing through it.
The ranch house sleeps up to eight people (with the comfortable day bed and the air mattress), is dog-friendly, is super cozy and comfortable, and has everything you need -- from a full kitchen to two woodstoves to an amazing outdoor shower.
With the North Bridger Mountains to the west and the Crazy Mountains to the east, the Shields Valley is a Montana treasure. The views from the ranch house are truly stunning, and the surrounding area has endless recreational opportunities.
The ranch house is 29 miles from downtown Bozeman’s Main Street, 14 miles from downhill skiing at Bridger Bowl or cross-country skiing at Crosscut Mountain Sports Center, 10 miles from the town of Wilsall, 18 miles from the town of Clyde Park, 32 miles from the legendary Yellowstone River, and 10 miles from the Shields River.
Hiking, biking, skiing, fly-fishing, hunting, hot springs, rodeos, great restaurants, privacy, tranquility, abundant wildlife, and the endless big sky of Montana – the ranch house is a unique and special place to stay any month of the year.
