We warmly welcome families and groups of the like, who want to create meaningful memories together.
Family fun, laughter, dancing and connection and the like are at the heart of what this luxury lake house is designed for. Music is welcome and may be enjoyed outside at a moderate level, with a selection that is more mainstream and easy for others to overhear, as sound travels easily across the lake. Music at a normal level is fine to enjoy inside the Lakehouse, where it does not carry to neighbouring properties.
To ensure this remains a beautiful and peaceful retreat, we maintain a few important practices:
- Exterior cameras (front and sides) and discreet decibel readers are in place.
- A groundskeeper tends to the gardens and property. Guest privacy is always respected, and maintenance is usually done during changeovers.
This property is NOT suitable for reckless and /or party behaviour, as we uphold professional practices that protect both the home and the peaceful culture of Walker Lake.
Guests who VALUE nature, FAMILY time and the like, and a LUXURY RETREAT experience, will find the lake house a wonderful fit.

This is a lovely Lake community for Cottagers who are mindful of everyone enjoying the lake and natural environment of nature sounds and families. It`s for quiet relaxation, rejuvenation and memories with loved ones.
If you have a pet, consideration of a pet staying can be talked about, after discussion and approval by owner.
**Pet Policy:**
Consideration for pets after discussion and approval by owner
-Pet fee: $175, for 1 + week, $125 for a weekend.
-Pets considered on a case-by-case basis
-Some pets may not be suitable for the designer cottage
Discussion about your pet and approval must be given by the owner. There is a $150 pet fee as well.

No smoking
PETS must are considered on a case by case basis, and must receive approval by the owner.
Hot tub
Guests must rinse in the shower before to keep a spa like water in the hotub (soaps in bathing suits and lotions make the water murky)
If the water gets below the top of the jets, guest must fill the hot tub with water using the hose provided.
It’s very important not to sit on furniture with wet bathing suites as it stains the upholstery. If that happens guest must pay for these damages which likely means replacement.
Maintain the quiet environment of tranquil Walker Lake
• Quiet hours: 10:00 p.m.–8:00 a.m.
• Non-intrusive at all times. This is a lovely Lake community, so this is for cottagers who are mindful of everyone enjoying the lake and this beautiful environment. In addition, absolutely no parties.
INDOOR FIREPLACE
It is so wonderful to enjoy a fire in the indoor fireplace.
It`s important to follow the safety rules laid out in the guest book. Including, only 2 small logs in the fireplace at one time. The flute is opened by pushing the levers at the bottom inward.
Additional rules
1. Parking must be in one of the five designated spots. No parking is permitted on the road or outside the designated spots.
2. Please ensure you take all garbage and recycling with you after your stay. See details under check out instructions, garbage.
3. Please follow the instructions provided to put garbage and recycling in designated areas.
4. A maximum of 10 guests are permitted, including children. Any extra guests will be asked to leave. No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed on the property. There are exterior cameras.
5. Cottage renter shall assume responsibility for any willful or negligent damages to the cottage and it’s premises, furniture and recreational equipment
6. Cottage renters shall put only the appropriate amount of toilet paper in the toilets. 1) Absolutely no paper towel, no napkins, no feminine hygiene products, no condoms, no baby wipes or no diapers or anything other than the appropriate amount of toilet paper in toilets.
7. No grease, coffee grinds, or anything other than water down the sinks. These products are not biodegradable nor are they septic friendly.
8. Do not exceed the maximum number of guests as it can cause septic malfunction. Violation of 1 and /or 2 and or 3 will cause damage and renters will be charged the repair and cleaning fee incurred by the owner. The cleaning fee of at least $200 and could be over a $1000.
9. Please do not leave doors and or windows open without screens completely in place as critters will get into cottage.
10. The property needs to be left in a neat and tidy condition, with all dishes washed and put away, furniture and accessories in the places found.
At check out, please leave all linens on beds.
11. There is zero tolerance for smoking inside the property. Please be respectful of the space and future guests. If we find evidence of smoking inside the property, we will seek $500 compensation.
12. Please remove your shoes when entering the property.
13. Please use the beach towel provided for the dock and the bath towels provided for showers and the like.
14. There are NO candles, incents or similar to be used in the Lake House. Battery candles only.
15. Please do not play on or move the furniture. If moving furniture, please lift rather than drag to avoid any scratches on the floor and return furniture to its original location.
16. No fireworks (including sparklers) at any time (including long weekends).
17. No illegal drugs are permitted on this property.
18. No parties or events are permitted on this property.
19. No eating or drinking in the bedrooms. Please enjoy your meals in the dining area, kitchen and outdoors.
