Welcome to our family lake home on Pelican Lake, just outside Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. This is the kind of place where mornings start with coffee on the deck watching the water wake up, and evenings end around the fire pit table as the sun drops over the lake in a wash of orange and pink.
The home sits right on the water with a private dock, a big grassy yard shaded by mature trees, and a spacious deck with lake views from nearly every angle. Step out onto the water's edge and you'll find a peaceful stretch of shoreline — no boat traffic noise, no crowds, just lake life the way it's meant to be.
Inside, the cabin blends warm knotty-pine charm with comfortable, updated furnishings. The open-concept living area features vaulted wood ceilings, a large kitchen island with bar seating for six, and a leather reclining sofa positioned to soak in the lake view through the wall of sliding glass doors. There's a second cozy sitting area just off the main living space, also facing the water, perfect for a quiet reading nook or overflow seating when the whole crew is here.
