Charming Garden-Level Suite in a 1926 Character Home | Hastings-Sunrise
Settle into this beautifully updated garden-level suite tucked inside a character 1926 home in Vancouver's vibrant Hastings-Sunrise neighbourhood. You're just minutes from the PNE, Freedom Mobile Arch, Playland, and New Brighton Beach, with easy transit access and quick connections to downtown or the highway.
The Space:
Enjoy your own private entrance, a fully-equipped kitchen, a cozy living area, a spacious and comfortable bedroom, and a convenient workspace — all finished with thoughtful touches throughout.
You'll be in a quiet residential pocket just around the corner from a small, well-stocked grocery market, with bike paths nearby and cafes, restaurants, breweries, and shops only a few minutes' drive away. There are some incredible parks and playgrounds in the neighborhood and the PNE's stadiums, Empire Fields soccer pitch and Hastings Park baseball fields are just a short stroll away for the families traveling for youth sports.
The kitchen comes fully stocked with essential cookware, utensils, and dinnerware. Small appliances include a microwave, toaster, kettle, and blender — plus everything you need for your morning coffee ritual, with a drip machine, French press, pour-over, and burr grinder all on hand. A selection of teas is also provided.
Sleep:
1 queen bed in the bedroom
1 queen sofa bed in the living room, topped with a memory foam mattress topper
Guest access:
The suite has its own private entrance and living space, while we live in the home above. Although our 1926 home has been fully renovated with sound reduction in mind, you may occasionally hear everyday household sounds — footsteps, voices, or our two young kids playing.
Check-in and check-out are seamless with keyless entry via smart lock and a unique code.
Other things to note...
Parking: Free street parking is typically available, though restrictions apply during PNE summer fair dates. Please coordinate with your host if you're bringing a car, as nearby alternatives may be needed.
Stairs: A single 4-inch step from the sidewalk, followed by 3 standard steps down to the private entryway.
Family-friendly: Pack 'n play and highchair available upon request.
Laundry: An all-in-one ventless washer/dryer is located in-suite for your convenience.
A/C: Please note this suite does not have air conditioning. As a ground-level unit, it stays naturally cool through the summer, and a fan is provided for extra comfort.
