A paved path starts just outside the door and ties into Park City's wider trail network. Kimball Junction is a quietly excellent place to base a Park City trip. The free town bus stops within walking distance and runs to the resorts and Main Street, and Redstone and the outlet shops sit just across the highway for groceries or a last-minute glove run. Utah Olympic Park is close enough to walk if you're motivated — zip lines, bobsled rides and the Olympic history that goes with them. Park City Mountain Resort, Canyons Village and Historic Main Street are all roughly a twelve-minute drive, with Deer Valley a little farther out. Winter means skiing and snowboarding, plus tubing and snowmobiling for anyone who'd rather not clip in. Summer swaps it for hundreds of miles of hiking and mountain biking, live concerts and farmers markets. Ski, hike, or do very little. Powder Perch is an easy landing spot either way. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation. Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee.
