APARTMENT IN A SAVOYARD CHALET, a 5-minute drive from the slopes

We’ve been to the area many times before but this is by far the best. Marie-Laure was so kind and helpful. Despite the heatwave the property was lovely and cool inside. Highly recommended

Had a great stay at this mountain chalet above Le Grand Bornand. The cottage is in a beautiful location with stunning views down the valley to distant mountains and is yet only a km to walk into Chinallion where there are restaurants and a shop. The chalet is a traditional style mountain cottage with lots of character with a balcony which is perfect for dining or sunbathing. The chalet is very modern but also clad internally in rustic timber. It was really hot when we were staying and the thick walls and timber cladding kept the property at a perfect temperature. The kitchen is modern and so are the bathrooms. Beds were comfy and we all slept well. Our kids had a great time as the chalet is surrounded by alpine pastures. The only very minor niggle we had would it would be nice to have some soaps, dishwasher tablets and toilet roll on arrival as we had to try and find some on restricted sunday hours. Its a small point and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this accommodation. Great property in a stunning location.

Nous avons passé un super séjour ! Marie-Laure et son mari étaient très accueillant et nous ont donné tous les bons conseils pour découvrir la région . Le chalet est très confortable et la vue inoubliable !! Même sous la pluie nous avons pu profiter de bons moments dans le chalet notamment grâce au hamam !! Merci pour tout !!
