The Honey House at Kieckhaefer Acres

Great stay on a flash trip to Colorado. Farm fresh eggs in fridge and fresh honey comb in freezer. Very responsive to getting me to property since it was a little tricky to find the turn at 10 o'clock at night. The honey them throughout was really well done and fun. Pet friendly also.

I am a tall guy so I did bump my head a few time on low ceiling but that was very minor for overall joy at the stay.

The property was quiet and in close proximity to shops, grocery stores, and downtown. The place is spacious, has fans and AC, which are a bonus at night! The fridge had bottled water, there were tons of keurig coffee options AND creamer flavors available!! The host gifted a jar of fresh honey from their bee farm, and it is delicious!! There were also fresh eggs in the fridge from the owner’s farm! The patio is also a great place to read and relax. Will stay again and recommend it to anyone who is planning a visit to Grand Junction.

Nothing I didn’t like, but a couple things I wish were available; a full-length mirror and extra space to apply makeup (maybe a table with wheels, like an art cart to set everything on). These are very minor things, the place is just fine without them!

Our host has chickens and there were two dozen fresh eggs in the fridge, Otis spunkmeir muffins, easy kurig with many favors of coffee and tea to choose from and a jar of honey from the bees on property!!! Beautiful spot, great location, clean, spacious and the host thought of absolutely everything. We were extremely comfortable, slept great. It was decorated everything honey bee, even the dishes!!! So cute!!! And the host was easy to get in touch with!!

There isn’t anything I can think of that we didn’t like.
