Villa between sea and mountains, facing the sea, close to all shops.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful villa. House amenities were just as advertised and having a small pool was great, especially for the kids. The owners were responsive to all of our questions. Loved the location - you can walk to boulangerie, there is a beautiful garden 2 min drive away, and having the view of the mountains and the sea is a great way to wake up in the morning. Would definitely stay again. One note is restaurant across the street occasionally has outdoor karaoke until 1am and you can hear everything in the house. Keep that in mind if this is something that would bother you.

First we have to say a huge thank you to the owner Xavier and to his cousin Nadia for how welcoming and helpful they were with our stay. Nadia prepared a delicious welcome supper for our arrival, and made sure our needs of clean linens were looked after.....and anything else if we needed it. We did not expect her to fuss over us, as any other home we rent we take care of our own linens and cleaning.....but this home is special in that way. Xavier stopped by a couple times just to visit and have many laughs with us, showed us how to mix traditional Guadeloupe rum drinks and more. I can honestly say Nadia and Xavier are now friends we will keep in touch with. The beautiful house easily accommodated us (3 couples). Ocean view out the front and mountain view out the back. Everything you need for a relaxing stay is in the house and then some. Well equipped kitchen as we cooked many meals. The pool and outside lounge area was wonderful. It is within easy walking distance to a perfect market that has all the supplies you will need for your stay. A wonderful bakery beside the market where I purchased our breakfast every morning.....who can resist those flakey pastries and fresh baguettes. Best of all there is a excellent restaurant right across the street from the house. I hope I haven't missed anything else I need to praise......we will definately be back to stay in Xavier's house.

First, let me start by saying that Xavier is the PERFECT host! I stayed here for a week in February with 3 girlfriends. We arrived at the villa around 7:30pm and Xavier was there to meet us. Not only did he give us a wonderful tour of the property, he also had an amazing dinner (and drinks!) waiting for us! The villa is decorated beautifully and has all the amenities you could hope for. Wifi, netflix on the living room tv and in the master suite, state of the art kitchen and laundry area, in addition to an awesome pool. There is a car port behind the villa so you don't need to worry about parking and lugging bags to the house. The outdoor patio over looking the pool and cabana is awesome. It's extremely well lit and comfortable so you can take a dip during the day or night. All of the bedrooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bathrooms are conveniently located near the downstairs and upstairs bedrooms, very clean and spacious as well. The villa is also located directly across the street from a great local restaurant and walking distnce from a small grocery store and bakery (great pastries in the morning). Additionally, we're driving distance from some great beaches and sights on Basse Terre and not very far (45 minute drive) from Grande Terre, specifically, Pointe a Pitre. I really cannot say one bad thing about our experience. Xavier was so helpful and friendly, giving us tips and points of interest to visit. I would definitely recommend staying here! I will just begin by stating, I don't believe I can fully convey how impressed I was with Xavier's hospitality and the beauty of the Villa. HOST Xavier kept in contact with us consistently. Even prior to arrival in Guadeloupe. He was flexible with the time that was booked, by accommodating part of the group that arrived early. He also welcomed us with a warm meal and cold beverages. It was a wonderful surprise. Xavier was even accommodating even to show & recommend areas to visit on the island. They never fell short of awesome! GREAT host! It was a pleasure and will be a pleasure to work with him in the future. VILLA The villa and its views were breathtaking! Very modern and chic. I loved the décor. There's two full bathrooms. One upstairs and one downstairs. There is also a half bath, and four bedrooms to accommodate 4 couples. We really loved being able to hook our phones up to the stereo system and hear the music wherever you were in the villa. We cooked most of our meals, but there is a chef option and some shops along the road to eat. The villa is an a residential neighborhood, so it is important to respect the neighbors that are adjacent to it. THE ISLAND Guadeloupe is very beautiful, and the people are wonderful! It is a French speaking country, and there was no shortage of French in Pointe Noire. There's a nice waterfall about 10 minutes from the villa that has a hike involved, but is very rewarding when you get to the water. It seems like a popular spot for locals and visitors. Again, the view is extremely rewarding. There are also some nice beaches on the south west side of the island that has shopping, bars and food, and water sports. The rum factory is on the south west side of the island as well. The roads are curvy, so proceed with caution if you're not used to such driving conditions. Would I visit Guadeloupe again? OF COURSE! Would I stay with Eden Sea Villa again? OFFFFF COURSE! Would I recommend Eden Sea Villa? YES! Without a doubt! I hope future visitors have as great an experience as we did!
