Every great Haliburton trip has a fireplace moment — and The Fireplace unit makes sure yours is the kind of cozy gathering everyone remembers.
Sleeping up to 6 guests, the layout offers a double bed in one bedroom and two single beds in each of the other two — flexible for families, friend groups, or mixed crews. The full kitchen is properly stocked: stove, full-sized fridge, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, kettle, and all cookware and dishes. A three-piece bathroom, dining area, and a large covered porch — perfect for outdoor meals or evening drinks — complete the unit. Linens, pillows, facecloths, towels, dish soap and hand soap are all provided.
To be environmentally conscious the units are not supplied with any single use products. Please bring your own coffee (we have filters for the machine), tea, spices, shampoo, conditioner and soap for the shower.

The covered porch is The Fireplace's edge over similar units — extra outdoor space to breathe in Haliburton Forest air. For groups of 10 to 13, The Whiskey Jack is right across the hallway.
Base Camp puts you at the centre: the Camp Store, the Boshkung Smokehouse for comfort food, the Wolf Centre for an up-close wolf experience, and 400+ km of trails and gravel roads for hiking, trail running and biking. Not to mention the 100 lakes to fish, swim and paddle!
Cook smores over a fire at one of our communal firepits, enjoy an outdoor game from our games shed and be sure to test your skills finding our hidden Geocaches!
When planning your trip be sure to book our guided experiences ahead of time: Canopy Tour, Clay Target Shooting, Ice Fishing, Fly Fishing, Tin Boat Fishing and/or one of our many exceptional experiences through Yours Outdoors and the Wolf Centre: Dinner With Wolves, Guided Fishing, Glassblowing, etc.
Don't have your own gear? We rent canoes, bikes, snowshoes AND snowmobiles!
