Your Winter, winery escape awaits you! Our two-storey manor set amongst the vines of McLaren Vale. On the grounds of Thicker Than Water Cellar Door. Vineyard views, a large outdoor pool and heated spa. pool table, three living areas, and a private gym, this property is built for memorable gatherings. Four bedrooms, two spa baths, a chef's kitchen with built-in coffee machine, and multiple alfresco entertaining areas make it an exceptional retreat in South Australia's premier wine region.
The Space:
Step inside and the scale of this home immediately impresses. The home features three distinct living and entertaining zones, each with its own character.
The main living area is a generous open-plan space anchored by a large sectional sofa, big-screen TV, and a built-in timber entertainment unit. Adding to the ambiance of the space, is the gas space heater which sections between the main living area and the games room. This living area, flows directly through to the gourmet kitchen and dining room. The kitchen is fully appointed with stainless steel appliances, a large fridge-freezer, double wall ovens, and a dramatic black granite island bench with bar seating. A built-in Miele coffee machine is provided, with coffee supplied for your stay. The dining room opens directly out to the covered alfresco deck, a beautiful space with outdoor dining for six overlooking the gardens, pool, vineyards and surrounds.
A formal sitting room downstairs features elegant gold velvet sofas, a crystal chandelier, and a large framed artwork, offering a refined space to unwind or entertain.
The entertainment room is a genuine highlight of the property: a full-sized billiard table with red baize, a bar (alcohol not included) with bar stools and a large-screen TV, and comfortable lounge seating. Please note the bar is not stocked for guest use, but the space is entirely yours to enjoy.
Upstairs, the master suite is a retreat in itself. Accessed through a stunning arched timber doorway, the bedroom features a king bed, its own private sitting room with a chaise lounge that opens onto a balcony with a small table for two, set against uninterrupted vineyard views. The master ensuite is finished in dramatic black marble tile with a corner spa bath, separate shower, and vanity.
A second balcony off the upper living area seats six and offers sweeping views across the vines and hills.
The upstairs living room is a relaxed and comfortable space with plush green sofas, a TV, and large sliding doors that open directly onto this main balcony, making it a wonderful spot for morning coffee or evening wine.
The upper-level main bathroom is a spa-like space with light marble tiles, a large jetted bathtub positioned beneath windows framing vineyard views, a separate shower, and vanity. A stylishly appointed powder room with a unique decorative light fixture serves the ground floor.
Three additional queen bedrooms are well-appointed and comfortable, served by the main bathroom upstairs.

McLaren Vale is one of Australia’s most celebrated wine regions, and this property sits right in the heart of it. Set on Thicker Than Wines Vineyards and directly bordering Hugh Hamilton Wines and Primo Estate, world-class winemaking is quite literally on your doorstep. Step outside and the vines stretch to the horizon in every direction.
With over 80 cellar doors and more than 100 wineries in the region , guests are spoiled for choice, but you’ll barely need to drive far. The Salopian Inn, one of McLaren Vale’s most acclaimed restaurants, is a stone’s throw away. Other iconic names like d’Arenberg (home to the striking d’Arenberg Cube), Coriole, Yangarra Estate, Gemtree, and Maxwell Wines are all within easy driving distance, many offering long-lunch dining experiences alongside their tastings. Other standout dining options include The Currant Shed, Fiore at Down the Rabbit Hole, and the clifftop Star of Greece at Port Willunga. 
The town of McLaren Vale is just a short drive away, with cafes, bottle shops, a local supermarket, and the Visitors Centre. The historic township of Willunga is nearby too, home to a beloved weekly farmers market and well-preserved heritage streetscapes.
For beach days, Port Willunga and Aldinga Beach are under 15 minutes away. The Shiraz Trail, a dedicated cycling and walking path through the vines, is also accessible from the area.

McLaren Vale is just over 30 minutes south of Adelaide's CBD, making it easy to run into the city for a day trip or airport run. The Southern Expressway provides a direct link.
For wine touring, designated driver services, private wine tour operators, and rideshare via Uber are all available and are the practical choice for anyone planning a full day of tastings. Public bus services connect McLaren Vale to the Adelaide metro network, though frequency is limited and a car remains the best option for a rural address like this one.
