About this house rental
A narrow path winding through the reeds, an exceptional view of the Alpilles: you’ll be staying at Domaine de Malaga, a preserved 400-hectare regenerative farm : a kingdom of bulls, horses, and birds, that has been passed down through the Callet family for four generations.
The Villa du Mayoral at the Domaine de Malaga places you at the heart of this authentic pastoral life in Maussane-les-Alpilles, in the Vallée des Baux de Provence.
When you stay in one of our three serviced Farmhouses, we welcome you into our family’s history. Each has been uniquely designed and furnished with antique pieces and family heirlooms passed down through the generations. Every detail has been carefully considered to blend style, modern comfort, and a connection to nature.
The 120 m² Villa du Mayoral is a single-story home with direct access to its private garden. The interior layout centers around a large living room with a fireplace that opens onto the dining room and the fully equipped kitchen. The hallway leads to three spacious bedrooms and a large bathroom with a separate toilet. Outside, you can enjoy the unique and precious sounds of nature surrounding the villa. The wooden deck features a Kokko Kamado barbecue where you can savor our organic meats, available at our shop, Le Mazet des Saveurs. Another unique feature is the “farm bath,” where you can cool off and admire the magnificent sunsets.
While staying in Malaga, you’ll have access to the Bodega at the heart of the estate, a warm and welcoming 150-square-meter space that embodies the estate’s history and passion: a large living room with a fireplace invites you to read; a piano where you can express the emotions of your day; a football table and board games for entertainment; and so many more stories to share with you.
