Discover the charm of authentic eastern Asturias by staying at Casa El Valle de la Reina, a cosy traditional Asturian house that has been completely renovated, preserving all its original character without compromising on modern comfort. Located in the peaceful village of Romillo, just 2 km from the centre of Arriondas (you can even enjoy a pleasant walk there), it is the perfect starting point for discovering some of the most spectacular places in Asturias.
Its excellent location allows you to reach Cangas de Onís, the Lakes and Sanctuary of Covadonga, the Picos de Europa National Park, Ribadesella, Llanes and many of the region’s best beaches and hiking trails within just a few minutes by car. In addition, there is a Mercadona supermarket just 1.5 km away, making it easy to do your shopping during your stay.
One of the area’s main attractions is the historic Camino de la Reina, which passes through the village of Romillo itself and offers a beautiful walk surrounded by nature and history. The house is also ideally located for enjoying the famous International Sella River Descent, one of the most iconic activities in eastern Asturias.
The property has private parking and free WiFi, allowing you to stay connected throughout your stay, whether you are travelling for leisure or need to work remotely. One pet is also welcome upon request, so you can enjoy your holiday with your four-legged companion (pets are not allowed on the sofas or beds and must always be supervised; they cannot be left alone in the house).
We also provide a cot for the little ones, making the stay easier and more comfortable for families travelling with babies. The house has been lovingly decorated to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere full of character.
On the ground floor, you will find a fully equipped kitchen, a practical toilet and a spacious living-dining room designed for enjoying time with family or friends. One of its most special features is an original and charming little bar, perfect for sharing a drink at the end of the day or enjoying a pleasant conversation.
The living room provides access to a large terrace equipped with garden furniture, a cosy covered dining area and a barbecue. It is the ideal place to enjoy meals outdoors while taking in the beautiful views of the green landscape surrounding the house.
Upstairs, you will discover a bright open-plan space with a large desk, ideal for reading, working remotely or simply enjoying a quiet moment. This floor also features a spacious bathroom with a shower, completely renovated, a very sunny gallery in the afternoon, and a spacious main bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe.
The house can accommodate up to 3 people. For the third guest, there is a comfortable extra bed, which can be set up either in the bedroom or in the desk area, allowing the space to be adapted to each guest’s needs while offering greater privacy.
