The Space:
Welcome to your cozy mountain retreat in the heart of Moonridge. Nestled among towering pines, this 2-bedroom, 2-bath cabin blends comfort, privacy, and easy access to mountain adventure.
After a day exploring Big Bear, unwind in the private hot tub for 4, surrounded by fresh mountain air and treetop views. Inside, an open-concept living space centers on a cozy gas fireplace and a smart TV, with central air conditioning, a genuine rarity in Big Bear, keeping things comfortable in every season.
The primary bedroom offers a Queen bed and an ensuite full bath with a stand-up shower.
The second bedroom has a Queen bed with a soaking tub down the hall.
A pull-out sleeper sofa in the living room adds extra sleeping space for larger groups (sleeps 4, max occupancy 6).
Step outside to the elevated deck with an outdoor dining area and gas BBQ grill, the perfect spot for morning coffee, evening cocktails, or just taking in the forest around you.
Parking is available for up to 2 vehicles in the paved driveway (no garage). Dogs of all sizes are welcome, up to 2 pets with a standard fee.
Conveniently located in Moonridge, this cabin is just minutes from Bear Mountain Ski Resort, the golf course, Alpine Zoo, hiking and biking trails, restaurants, and shopping, an ideal home base for every season.
Guest Access:
There is no access to the basement or a garage.
The Neighborhood:
This cabin sits in Big Bear City, the quieter, more residential side of the Big Bear Valley, away from the busiest tourist crowds but still close to it all. The area is known for its laid-back, small-mountain-town feel, with mom and-pop restaurants, local cafes, and everyday conveniences within easy reach.
Everyday essentials, including grocery stores (Vons, Stater Bros, and Grocery Outlet), local restaurants, and cafes, are only minutes away along Big Bear Boulevard. For more, the shops, restaurants, and lakefront activity of the Village and Big Bear Lake's marinas are a short, scenic drive away, along with Snow Summit and Bear Mountain resorts for skiing, snowboarding, and summer mountain biking.
Getting Around:
A car is the easiest way to get around Big Bear, especially in winter when snow can affect mountain roads. Rideshare availability is limited up here, so we recommend planning ahead.
Other Things to Note:
City of Big Bear Lake Good Neighbor Policy must be always respected. Please review the city rules.
Do not exceed the occupancy limit (6 guests regardless of age) Do not exceed the stated occupancy at any time during your stay. The maximum number of adult occupants may be less than the total maximum occupancy.
No parties allowed. No amplified music 24/7. Close your windows to avoid music carrying beyond the property line.
No parking in street or yard. Parking is only permitted in the driveway, designated parking spaces, and garage. This includes trailers. The maximum number of vehicles (2) permitted is on the exterior sign.
Head inside at 10:00 p.m. Noisy outdoor activities and spa use are prohibited from 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
Take trash to dumpster locations. Trash needs to be taken to a local dumpsite. Clean Bear locations:41970 Garstin Drive & 39690 Big Bear Blvd.
Unfortunately, a few of our guests refuse to extend common courtesy and neighborly behavior toward the guests and residents around them. For those guests who have come to party and disrupt the peace and tranquility of the neighborhoods, there are consequences.
The minimum fine for violating the rules stated previously is $500 per violation. A second offense is $1000 per violation.
Unruly guests who blatantly disregard the rules and expectations will be evicted without a refund.
