Three levels of cedar and mountain air, Dream Chaser is a log cabin built for the kind of trip where nobody's in a hurry. The wraparound decks do most of the talking: rocking chairs and a porch swing angled toward layered ridgelines, a gas grill fired up for dinner, and a hot tub that stays busy from the first evening on. Mornings here start with coffee and fog burning off the valley; evenings end under a sky you don't get at home.
Inside, the open main level keeps everyone in the same room without anyone feeling on top of each other. The full kitchen is stocked for real cooking, with a dining table that seats six and a small bar tucked into the living area for the overflow crowd. A stone fireplace anchors the living room, and an arcade cabinet off the kitchen tends to turn into the evening's main event once the plates are cleared. Board games are on the shelf when the tournament winds down. Ceiling fans run through the living space and every bedroom, which matters more than you'd think in a Smokies summer.
Sleeping is spread across the levels: a king bedroom, two queens, and a sleeper sofa in the living room, with two full bathrooms between them. Wood-paneled walls, quilted beds, and windows that open onto trees on nearly every side — it reads exactly like a cabin should.
