This one of a kind cottage in the trees is the perfect home base for your trip to Barren River Lake. The property is located directly across the street from Rusty's Lakeside Pub and Paradise Point with a private walking path down to the water. We are located across the bridge from Barren River Lake State Park which features golf, hiking, horseback riding, and the well known Highlander Mountain bike trail. Inside, guests will find a French Country inspired ambiance. The house is equipped with bluetooth audio throughout the house. There are 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed and a smart TV. The bathroom features a refreshing shower but, if you prefer a bath, there is an antique clawfoot tub on the deck for you to soak in while taking in the serene views of the lake from the treetops. And don't worry, there is a custom louver wall that you can keep open or close during your bath for additional privacy. Throughout the house, there are 2 mini splits for personalized temperature control to keep all guests comfortable. If you enjoy fishing, this property has it's own honey hole where you can catch crappie, catfish, bluegill and bass. You may spot some other fun wildlife such as beavers, groundhogs, and even the occasional bald eagle.
