About this apartment rental
My newly remodeled building sits within the heart of the neighborhood. True to this statement, my place is a short two-block walk from the mecca of authentic Mexican Dining, Culture, & Shopping. Many businesses are still open and operational. I would suggest supporting a few during your stay.
The Space
For your privacy, you have an entire 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom downstairs apartment to yourself. Additionally, as the apartment is located on the bottom floor of a 2-flat building, you have a private entrance to come and go.
For your convenience, there is free Wi-Fi, a 42" Amazon Smart TV, and a fully equipped kitchen with pots, pans, plates, silverware and a Keurig. You are welcome to cook in the kitchen and enjoy meals during your stay seated at the Kitchen Island.
For your comfort, towels, soap, conditioner, shampoo, and a hairdryer are provided within the bathroom.
For your peace of mind, the apartment is professionally cleaned after each stay. Additionally, there are cleaning supplies and cleaning tools left within the apartment should you wish to sanitize further or leave the place as you found it.
The Location
Within walking distance of authentic Mexican Dining, Culture, & Shopping. I have grown accustomed to the lively sounds of music from celebrations and the smell of homemade tortillas. Quesabirria enthusiasts should know that I have tasted some of the best quesabirrias tacos in the city right within the neighborhood.
Within walking distance of the apartment you'll also find:
La Catedral, a local restaurant and cafe serving a sinful capuccino con cajeta. Proving the best way to jump-start the day.
Mi Tierra, a lively restaurant with nightly live entertainment and excellent drinks.
Street tacos: a personal favorite of mine but there are a host of taquerias serving made-to-order tacos with fresh tortillas.
There is also colorful street art and murals, family bakeries, restaurants, and storefronts all within reach.
Fun Fact:
The apartment is within a 6-minute driving distance of the edge of Pilsen, where you'll be surprised to find a little Italian Village with pizza and traditional Italian restaurants.

Please be kind and courteous to my neighbors as you come and go as there are generational families on this block. Most of my neighbors do speak Spanish. Hola (Hello) and Buenas Dias (Good Morning) go a long way.
