About this villa rental
Wake up with the beach at your doorstep. Clear views of Chapman`s peak all the way to Kommetjie across the bay and ocean.
Beachfront home in a secure estate with 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Ample entertainment space overlooking the sea and mountains. Walking distance to shops, restaurants & public transport. Secure parking in estate with private beach access and pool. The house comes with everything you need, fully equipped kitchen, linen & towels, Internet & Netflix. Even some surfboards :)
This is a triple-story unit with access either via the garden (ground floor) or the basement level, which has parking space for a car.
The ground floor has 2 north-facing bedrooms with their own private sunroom and an adjacent bathroom (shared). It`s a great living space where my kids and I hang out most of our time, with a fully equipped kitchen, a TV room, dining area and outdoor eating area overlooking the sea and mountains all flowing into one another. There is an outdoor braai (barbecue) you can use (stored in the garage).
The second floor has the main bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, plus a second full bathroom and shower. A large lounge with exquisite sea and mountain views that stretch all around and up to the Kommetjie lighthouse.
The roof has 360-degree views of Hout Bay and the ocean. It has a seating area for relaxing, and you can take a portable BBQ up there if you want to cook. The roof area is large, and it`s perfect for lying around or sunbathing.
The basement level has a variety of wetsuits and surfboards you can use (not guaranteeing the wetsuits will fit you), plus a laundry area. There are kids` toys here too, plus a table tennis table.
The house is on a secure estate with guards and perimeter fencing that is monitored 24/7. The beach access point is a 3-minute walk from the house and controlled via a keypad and code (which you will be provided). There is parking both in the underground garage level and visitors` bays on the ground level. There are large garden spaces and a pool, about 1 min walk from the house, in the estate. Guests have full access to the grounds and facilities,
The whole house is available for guests.
There is uncapped internet (10Mb DSL) in the house and you and a Netflix account off the appleTV in the TV area. There is also an xbox, and some games that can be used.

The Hout Bay beachfront area is great for lazy beach holidays. Quieter than Cape Town, with easy access to a number of shops (Woolworths, Spar, PnP all within walking distance), Restaurants are an easy walk along the beach or Hout Bay Market. The beach is clean, with water not as cold as Llandudno or camps bay. We often see seals and dolphins swimming in the sea.
Hout Bay is also centrally located between Town (20 min), False Bay (30min), Kommetjie(40min) & Constantia (15min) - making it an easy drive to any direction.
There is a bus stop close to the complex, and UBER`s are plentiful and cheap - with around 3min waiting time on average.
