The Neighborhood:
St Kilda East is a fantastic little part of Melbourne. There are beautiful parks, playgrounds, quirky shops and the beach is just a twenty minute walk from the apartment. The close proximity of Alma Park means you can take advantage of the wonderful outside areas - significant avenues of trees, bike paths, playgrounds, a gazebo, a sports oval, BBQ facilities and artwork.
The best coffee in Melbourne can be found nearby on Carlisle Street along with a great variety of dining options. This is a really happening and diverse part of the city. While St Kilda East is very chilled out and family friendly, it is full of creative people with positive energy and is very friendly and very eclectic. The proximity of the night-time action, means that you can walk to bars and entertainment venues in the evening, as a more colourful side of life emerges and there's a lot of fun to be had!
St Kilda East is close to St Kilda - a beachside suburb popular with tourists and full of exciting attractions and interesting sights - such as Luna Park, The St Kilda Botanical Gardens, The Palace Theatre and The Prince of Wales Hotel - where you can catch some fantastic live music, and then enjoy the exciting atmosphere of Acland Street just down the road.
From my apartment you can walk to Chapel Street - Melbourne's best strip for shopping; Windsor - a very lively area with some of the best dining options in the city and Prahran - walking distance to an abundance of restaurants, cafes, pubs, retail stores, and cinemas - and the Prahan markets - which are the best place in Melbourne to buy speciality food from vendors, and fruit and veggies.
Access into Melbourne's CBD is quick and easy and you will have no troubles exploring the local area on foot. Enjoy this wonderful location - you'll never want to leave!
Getting Around:
A 5 minute walk will take you to Hotham Tram Stop - number 35. Here you can take the number 5 tram - 'Malvern (Bourke Road)' in the direction of Melbourne University. A direct 15-20 minute journey will take you to Flinders Street Station - stop 13.
From here you can access all of Melbourne's most well known attractions such as Federation Square, The National Gallery of Victoria, acmi, The Botanical Gardens, Southbank, and The Crown Casino.

We will endeavour to have the property ready before your designated check-in time, however, your check-in time may be pushed back in the rare event that our housekeeping service is delayed.

There is no elevator in the building - guests must climb a flight of stairs to reach the apartment. This is an older style property and furniture is not brand new, if you are looking for newly renovated our place may not be for you.
