Wyman Ridge Retreat is a stylish 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath home in the Bigelow Preserve area of Wyman, Maine. Just minutes from Sugarloaf Ski Resort and the Stratton/Eustis region, it’s ideal for four-season adventures. The spacious main level offers cathedral ceilings and two primary bedrooms, while the open upstairs loft is perfect for kids and families. Thoughtfully designed with comfort and style, this retreat provides the perfect home away from home in the mountains.
The Space:
Welcome to Wyman Ridge Retreat—just a short 7-minute drive to Sugarloaf Mountain in the heart of Maine’s Western Mountains. This two-story, 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath cabin blends rustic charm with modern convenience, making it the ideal getaway for families and groups of friends.
Step inside to an open-concept living space, where vaulted pine ceilings and warm wood accents create a true lodge feel, while large windows keep the atmosphere bright and airy.
Our fully equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, ample counter space, and all the essentials for preparing delicious home-cooked meals. Gather at the farmhouse-style dining table (seats 4 comfortably) for family meals, game nights, or post-adventure laughs. The extended counter also offers 3 high-top stools, perfect for morning coffee at the coffee bar corner.
Relax on the oversized leather sectional with built-in recliners, bask in the glow of the propane fireplace, or stream your favorite shows on the large flat-screen TV.
Located downstairs is our two primary bedrooms with queen beds. One includes a private ensuite bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower and rinnai heater. A second full bathroom with a shower/tub combo is also located on the main floor, along with a washer and dryer for guest use.
Upstairs you'll find a versatile loft-style bedroom and secondary living space, perfect for kids or groups—featuring a twin-over-futon bunk bed, two full beds, and another futon. A mounted smart TV, separate heat pump, a half bath and plenty of lounging space make this the ultimate hangout.
Our rustic wood accents, a one-of-a-kind live-edge coffee table, and cozy lodge-style décor give this retreat its warm mountain charm.
Whether you’re planning a ski trip, family getaway, or a peaceful escape to nature, Wyman Ridge Retreat offers the perfect balance of comfort, style, and adventure.
Other Things to Note:
We ask that you leave the home as you found it, dishes should be washed and put away, furniture all in its place, check out instructions followed the morning of your departure, etc.
No smoking or vaping (of any kind) in the house.
Our Policy Includes:
$100 one-time pet fee will be applied.
Well-behaved ONLY dogs (only one unless pre-approved for two dogs) are allowed with permission from host.
Do not leave unattended for extended periods of time.
- Keeping them off furniture.
- Not allowing them upstairs or in bedrooms, we provide a gate.
- Do not leave them unattended for long periods of time, if left unattended we ask you bring a kennel.
- We only allow well behaved dogs and would like you to tell us a little more about your furry friend before we accept your booking.
We ask that you clean up their waste and dispose of it in the exterior garbage cans.
We kindly ask you remove trash & returnables from the home the day of your departure and place in designated barrels (refer to house manual.)
We understand accidents happen, if anything is broken during your stay, please notify your Host/Co-Host.
No large gatherings or events without owner's written permission. Limit number of guests to those that have been accounted for in the rental.
