About this house rental
Welcome to our home away from home in Baywood-Los Osos, a quiet coastal neighborhood tucked between the sleepy back bay and the pines of California's Central Coast. Whether you're here to kayak the estuary, hike Montaña de Oro, or simply slow down for a while, our 3-bedroom, 2-bath home is a comfortable base for all of it.
THE SPACE
Sleeping arrangements work beautifully for families and groups: a king bed in the primary suite, a queen in the second bedroom, and a fun bunk room the kids will claim on sight. There are two full bathrooms — a tub/shower combo upstairs (perfect for kids' bath time) and a walk-in shower downstairs — both stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and hair dryers. The fully equipped kitchen has all the cookware and utensils you'll need — plus coffee and tea on us. You'll also find smart TVs in the living room and two of the bedrooms for streaming your favorites, reliable WiFi for remote work, an in-unit washer and dryer, and keyless entry for easy self check-in.
OUTSIDE
Fire up the charcoal BBQ for dinner in the fresh bay air, and park with ease — there's room for three cars (two in the driveway, one out front).
THE LOCATION
This is the Central Coast without the crowds. You're minutes from the Baywood pier and the Elfin Forest boardwalk, and about 10 minutes from Montaña de Oro State Park, where the bluffs, coves, and dunes feel like a world away. Morro Bay's Embarcadero, famous rock, and Saturday farmers market are a short drive north, with Cayucos and Avila Beach close behind. Groceries are 5 minutes away, and local favorites like Celia's Garden Cafe, Duckie's Chowder House, and Central Coast Pizza are all nearby — our in-home guest book is full of our favorite spots.
BRING THE DOG!
Our home is pet-friendly, and your pup is welcome — we even keep a water bowl on hand. We just ask that pets stay off the furniture and beds and aren't left unattended.
GOOD TO KNOW
No smoking or vaping indoors, no parties, and quiet hours are 10pm–7am out of respect for our neighbors. For everyone's security, a motion-activated floodlight camera monitors the driveway and front of the house (exterior only).
We've worked hard to make this a unique and welcoming stay, and we can't wait to host you!
