Marie's Vacation Rental - Josephine Vacation Rental

The building is part of a fortification complex that was built in the 18th century, first by Prussia and later by Saxony. The so-called “bridgehead” served as the main headquarters (with grenades and dynamite stored on the first floor). In 1813, Napoleon had the building remodeled before he set out with his Grande Armée on the campaign against Russia. Right next to it were Napoleon’s former stables. To this day, the rampart and moat of the fortification are visible, providing a habitat for badgers, foxes, deer, and wild boars. Our vacation rental is located on the first floor of the former howitzer emplacements.

As a special bonus, your dogs are also welcome here, so you can enjoy your vacation together with all family members. There is a shooting range in the immediate vicinity (about 200 meters away), which is open on Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and occasionally on other days. Nature trails and walking paths around the grounds still invite you to take relaxing strolls. For your personal time-out, we also offer a special additional service: Upon request, you can book a private yoga session with Marie Thiele right in the vacation rental. Ideal for relaxing, unwinding, and recharging; the price is agreed upon individually.

The vacation rental may only be occupied by the number of people specified in the booking. The renter agrees to treat the apartment and its furnishings with care.

A large garden with fruit trees (approx. 1,000 m²),
sun loungers, and a grill invite you to relax.

Several free parking spaces are available in front of the property.



Check-in is from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and check-out is from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
