Welcome to our colorful, eccentric apartment! This beautifully curated loft features a fun color palette, a full apartment-size kitchen, & a cozy living area with a Smart TV (+ pull-out sofa!). Unwind in the lofted king bed or relax in your private outdoor courtyard. We also provide beach gear for your sun-soaked adventures! Located just minutes from UTC shopping, the iconic Ringling Museum, and world-class Gulf beaches. Experience the ultimate, local Sarasota getaway. We can't wait to host you!
This apartment was designed with guests in mind! It's the perfect spot for a couple, small family, small group of friends, or even a single person to get away in a peaceful, clutter-free and clean environment just minutes from some of Sarasota's biggest attractions, while feeling away from it all. You can heard birds chirping all day and our property has mature trees, adding to the privacy your crave while on vacation!
The apartment has a kitchen with an apartment sized fridge and stove so you can cook meals if you prefer to do your own thing. You'll find pots, pans, glassware, storage containers, and everything you need. We have a nespresso maker in the kitchen and we suggest you enjoy your morning coffee in the courtyard chairs to enjoy the sunshine and hear the birds waking up!
The living room has a comfortable sofa that can double as a pull-out queen sized bed if you need a little more room. Pillows, sheets and blankets for this sofa bed are provided and can be found in the cabinet underneath the TV. There is one TV, in the living room, and it is a TCL Roku TV. We have provided a login for Netflix, and you can feel free to use your logins for any of the other apps! Just don't forget to logout ;)
The king-sized bed is in the loft of the apartment, with a staircase to get you there. There is a handrail on one side of the staircase, all the way to the top of the loft. Please note that the ceiling is slanted and low in the loft. You will be able to stand up straight at the head of the bed, but NOT at the foot of the bed. If two people are staying in the loft, the person sleeping on the left side of the bed will either need to crawl across the bed or duck and walk to the other side of the bed.
Downstairs, next to the kitchen, there is a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo. We have provided fluffy, oversized bath towels, wash cloths, make up cloths, toilet paper, qtips, and a hair dryer for your stay. Next to the bathroom, under the stairs, is a small area with a 2 drawer dresser and a big of hanging space for clothes, if you need it. Please note that the hot water heater for both units is under the stairs in this unit. Please do not touch or mess with the hot water heater, and please let us know if there is an issue or something we should be aware of.
Our home is less than 8 minutes away from: Walmart, Detwiler's Farm Market, Culver's, McDonald's, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, and more! Very convenient for food and grocery shopping.
***Please note: This apartment is 1 of 2 apartments in a duplex that is on the southern part of our 1 acre property. Our house (where we live with our family) is next door. You will have a private entrance and 1 parking spot that is in a fenced area of our property. There is a small courtyard that is private to each apartment (there is no gate to close the courtyard i, just an opening in the fence from the parking lot to private courtyard!).
We have sound-proofed the walls in the home so that the noise heard between the two apartments is limited! You will be sharing a parking area with the other apartment tenants. Please refer to our house rules where we ask that you be considerate with noise levels while you are a guest. Thank you!
The entire apartment is yours, during your stay. No one else will share any of the spaces. The parking area has room for 1 car per unit, and it is a shared area between the 2 units. The courtyard is yours alone, and the other unit has it's own courtyard, too.
We live in the main house on the property, and you may see us or our family outside and in our side of the yard during your stay. That being said, we value our guests privacy and will stay out of your way, but we are here through the VRBO messaging app if you need anything!
Our home is less than 8 minutes away from: Walmart, Detwiler's Farm Market, Culver's, McDonald's, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, and more! Very convenient for food and grocery shopping.

This apartment is 1 of 2 units within a duplex. The duplex is on the southern 1/3 of our 1 acre property. We live in the main home beside the duplex with our family.
The apartment has been extensively sound-proofed to help the noise barrier between the 2 units, but PLEASE, be respectful and considerate of other guests with music, noise levels, etc.
The driveway that leads to the apartment and private entrance is a dirt road. We have driven both of our vehicles on this road many times (as well as all of the subs and workers who helped us remodel this duplex) so we know it is safe for cars. Please drive slowly and be mindful when pulling in or backing out!
LATE CHECK OUT/EARLY CHECK IN:
-when the cleaners schedule allows, we can accommodate early check in (2pm) and late check out (12pm) for a fee of $20. if you are interested, please let us know so we can check with the cleaners to see if they can rearrange their schedules that day to make it work!
NOTE:
We have a strict NO SMOKING policy on our property, no exceptions (including outside). There will be a $250 minimum charge for smoking. Please do not smoke here :) Thanks!
