Apartment near the sea - Shkembi i Kavajes

The location is excellent — the sea is only about a 2-minute walk away. The beach is sandy, and the water near the shore is shallow enough for people to play ball in the sea. There is also plenty of space to sit directly by the water, as the hotel sunbeds are located about 10–15 metres from the shoreline. At the exit from the beach, there is a place where you can rinse the sand off your feet. It probably belongs to one of the hotels, but it seems to be available for everyone to use. There is a very long promenade stretching along the coast as far as you can see, with hotels and beaches all along it. It is a great place for walking. The apartment itself is very spacious. The bedroom has two beds — one double and one single — and there is a large sofa in the living room. There is air conditioning in both rooms. A large terrace runs along two sides of the apartment, with a table and chairs, and you can even see part of the sea between the hotels on the first line. The kitchen is connected to the living room and has everything necessary for cooking, including dishes and an electric stove. I also appreciated finding useful basics in the cupboards, such as cooking oil, salt, spices and cleaning products. The bathroom is standard and practical, with a shower and toilet. Shampoo, a hairdryer and other useful items are provided. The apartment has many additional things that can make a longer stay or a family holiday more comfortable: a drying rack, a high chair for a child, a beach mat, children's toys, barbecue equipment, and a flat-screen TV with YouTube, Netflix and other services. There are many places nearby selling fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as supermarkets where you can pay by card. Prices are not especially low, but quite reasonable for a seaside resort. The largest and, in my opinion, best supermarket nearby is Big Market, located at the end of the block, behind the trees.

One important thing to know: the apartment is on the 6th floor and there is no lift. I would not recommend it to anyone who has difficulty climbing stairs or has health problems that make this difficult. But if stairs are not a problem for you, you can consider them a very good daily workout! 😊
