About this house rental
Step into this one-of-a-kind mid-century modern retreat — warm wood paneling, vaulted wood-beam ceilings, and cycling art set the scene. Cook in the chef's kitchen with island bar seating, unwind with board games and the PacMan arcade, and gear up in the dedicated bike garage. A mile from Bentonville's trails, Crystal Bridges, and downtown dining. Dogs welcome. The perfect basecamp for adventure, family gatherings, or corporate retreats.
The Space:
This home is a one-of-a-kind split-level mid-century modern home tucked into a quiet, wooded lot about a mile from the Bentonville Square. Vaulted wood-beam ceilings and original wood paneling anchor the open living area, while a chef's kitchen with island bar seating opens onto a separate dining room that comfortably seats six.
Main-floor sleeping: a king master with ensuite bathroom, plus two queen bedrooms. Each of the two main-floor guest bedrooms have a built-in desk — good for remote work or spreading out on a rainy morning.
Downstairs, a dedicated game room features a vintage PacMan arcade cabinet, a ping-pong table, and a shelf stacked with board games (Risk, Clue, Mastermind, Sequence, and more). The game room also sleeps extra guests on a full-over-full bunk bed plus a twin — great for kids or a second wave of adults.
The wraparound back deck overlooks mature oaks and is set up for post-trail dinners with two grills (one propane, one charcoal) and outdoor seating.
The front garage is set up as a fully equipped bike garage with room for one car: secure overnight storage, a wash station with hose and brush, a repair stand, floor pump, and printed Slaughter Pen / Coler / Razorback Greenway trail maps. Roll out the door and you're a short pedal from the Razorback Greenway.
Sleeping arrangements: 1 king, 2 queens, 2 full-size bunks, and 1 twin. Two full bathrooms (all with tub/shower combos): one ensuite to the master, one in the upstairs hallway, and one half bathroom downstairs.
Guest Access:
Self check-in via smart lock — code is sent the morning of arrival. Free parking for one car in the front garage, plus ample additional parking in the circular driveway out front and the side driveway. (We don't recommend street parking; the road is narrow.)
The Neighborhood:
NW Bentonville is the city's most walkable and bikeable quadrant — mature trees, mid-century homes, and minimal through-traffic. You're about a mile from the downtown Square (Pressroom, Bar Cleeta, Oven & Tap, The Preacher's Son, and Onyx Coffee Lab — named the world's best coffee shop in 2026), just over a mile from the Slaughter Pen trailhead at Compton Gardens, about 1.5 miles from Coler Mountain Bike Preserve, and 1.3 miles from Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. The Walmart Home Office campus is a 5-minute drive or a flat bike ride up the Razorback Greenway. XNA Airport is ~25 minutes.
Getting Around:
Car recommended for trips to XNA (~25 min), Rogers, and Fayetteville. For everything in central Bentonville, you can walk or bike — the Razorback Greenway is a short ride from the front door. Uber and Lyft both operate in the area.
Other Things to Note:
This is a registered short-term rental managed by Weekender Management. Quiet hours are 9 PM–8 AM out of respect for neighbors. The home is on a wooded lot — please secure trash in the garage bins to keep critters out.
Heads up: the living room is sunken, so the main floor is not wheelchair accessible.
Interaction with Guests:
We're hands-off but always reachable. Message us anytime and we'll get back to you quickly. For trail recs, restaurant reservations, or anything else Bentonville, just ask.
