Close to the Engstlig-Gand recreation area (wide Engstligen riverbed), suitable for barbecues in summer, covered barbecue area available (approx. 10 min. away). In autumn, the area is usually fog-free and very suitable for long hikes. In winter, the Frutigen (Elsigen-Metsch) / Adelboden-Lenk or Kandersteg ski areas are within easy reach.
