About this cottage rental

Welcome to Bluestone Cottage | Historic Goshen Retreat with Pool & Litchfield County Charm

Bluestone Cottage isn't a modern cookie cutter vacation home. It's an authentic New England farmhouse where creaky floors, antique doors, and nearly three centuries of history are all part of the experience. If you're looking for character, comfort, and the charm of country living, you've found it.

Step into a piece of Connecticut history at this beautifully preserved 3-bedroom, 2-bath home in Goshen, originally built in 1735 and thoughtfully expanded in 1865.

Full of character, from original hardwood floors and exposed wood beam ceilings to charming architectural details, this home offers a unique blend of historic charm and modern comfort. Set on a private one-acre property, it’s the perfect setting to relax, gather, and enjoy everything Litchfield County has to offer.

Bluestone Cottage is a home for those who appreciate history, craftsmanship, and the peaceful beauty of the Connecticut countryside. While it offers modern conveniences, it proudly retains many of its original features and the unique character that only nearly 300 years of history can provide.

Whether you're visiting for a summer escape by the pool, a fall foliage getaway, or a winter ski weekend just minutes from Mohawk Mountain, this home is designed for year-round enjoyment.
