Our house is directly integrated into the historic city wall—here, where the guards of the Lower Gate once lived, you will now find your cozy retreat. Enjoy the perfect location: right at the entrance to the southern pedestrian zone, with the majestic Hellenstein Castle directly above your balcony. Whether you are traveling for business, visiting Legoland with your family, or exploring the Swabian Alb, your adventure starts here.

When you stay with us, you will be sleeping within a part of the historic city wall. For centuries, this building served as the gatekeeper’s house for the Lower Gate. Beneath your feet, in the cellar, beer from the former Grünbaum Brewery was once stored. Today, this remarkable piece of history is combined with modern comfort to create a truly unique holiday experience.
