SPES Hotel - a place to feel at home
The SPES Hotel impresses with its modern, barrier-free design. Generous glass surfaces offer unobstructed views of the magnificent landscape of the Upper Kremstal Valley. The SPES Hotel is the ideal venue for conferences and seminars.
Situated on a scenic plateau right at the edge of the forest, just a 5-minute walk from downtown Schlierbach, the SPES Hotel opened its doors in 2009. The modern, barrier-free building impresses with its expansive glass surfaces, which offer unobstructed views of the magnificent landscape of the Upper Kremstal Valley.
The hotel offers:
• 44 modern rooms with a balcony, shower/toilet, internet, TV, and telephone. An additional 3 rooms with shower/toilet are located in a cozy wooden house in the eco-vacation village nearby.
• 6 light-filled seminar rooms & 3 meeting rooms for up to 120 people, brightly and invitingly furnished, with state-of-the-art technical equipment.
• Wellness area with a sauna, relaxation room, rooftop terrace, power-napping loungers, and meditation room.
• Panoramic restaurant serving primarily regional and organic cuisine.
• Beautiful surroundings with a wide range of recreational activities.
Another unique feature at SPES is the “Dark Pleasure Room.” Pitch-black, completely dark—not even the slightest ray of light penetrates this room. The sense of sight takes a break, and these unique conditions cause a significant shift in focus. Humans, as “visual creatures,” must forgo 80% of their usual perception and concentrate much more on their other senses. On select dates, guests have the opportunity to experience this sensory journey during dinner or breakfast.
The SPES Hotel is a Bio Austria partner, a Fairtrade gastronomy partner, has been awarded the Austrian Ecolabel, and is 5 Flipchart certified. We are also part of the largest municipal climate protection network and take responsibility for climate protection.
