Inside, you’ll find soaring 17-foot vaulted ceilings, warm wood accents, and a bright, open floor plan that invites you to unwind. The great room centers around a majestic stone fireplace, perfect for cozy evenings and movie nights. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare home-cooked meals, complete with modern appliances, ample counter space, and a dining table ideal for gathering together.
The wraparound porch is a true highlight, your group can gather on the outdoor furniture and enjoy the fire table. Utilize the gas grill for alfresco dining and sunset barbecues. Downstairs, the game room and home gym provide endless entertainment with a foosball table, game table, smart TV, and exercise equipment. The loft upstairs doubles as a reading nook or kid-friendly hangout, complete with a TV and vintage VHS player for nostalgic movie marathons.
The primary bedroom suite with king bed is located on the main floor. The upper level houses two additional bedrooms (king bedroom and bedroom with a bunk bed and 2 additional twin beds) located off the loft area. The lower level houses two more bedroom (Full size bedroom and bedroom with a bunk bed that is a twin bed over a full size bed) off the game room area with a shared hallway bathroom.

Rumbling Bald Resort amenities include a heated shared pool, two outdoor pools, a lazy river (open Memorial Day to Labor Day), a hot tub, spa and wellness center, mini golf, basketball, and tennis courts, lawn games, and a playground. Enjoy two golf courses, Apple Valley and Bald Mountain, with dining options at Legends on the Lake, The Gardens, Bears Cup Cafe, and Eagles Nest.
THINGS TO KNOW
-Lake Lure notice: Pontoon boats and non-motorized vessels may be no longer than 28 feet. All other boats, such as ski boats, fishing boats, etc, may be no longer than 21 feet.
-Select watercraft/boats can be rented from a local service from Memorial to Thanksgiving.
-Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
-Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
-All guests shall abide by our good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity.
-Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
-No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
-All properties come with a starter kit to assist you on your first day, including: dish sponge, dish soap, dishwasher packet, laundry packet. Bathrooms will have two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap.
-This property is managed by VueStay Vacations.
RUMBLING BALD GUEST PASSES
-This property has 10 passes for guest use in the resort. Guests 11 years old and younger do not require a pass but must be accompanied by pass holding guests. Guests 12 and over MUST have a pass to use the amenities. There is not any ability to get additional passes.
-Please be sure to leave the resort passes upon departure to avoid a $50 pass replacement charge.

Great location and property! Indoor pool had way to much chlorine where we could only stay there for 20mins as our eyes burned and started to cough. Hopefully community fixes but property was great.

The host and caretaker were helpful. The house could use some repairs, new linens, bed pillows, pots and pans that have matching lids (like to boil water for pasta) and non-stick pans that aren't scratched off. The place was nice, great location. Just needs a deep cleaning (tracks of the showers and vaccuming under the couch in the LR) and a refresh. The pool was close for 2 of the 4 days were were there. The fireplace didn't work. The "fire pit" is actually a gas fire table.

The home was spacious and well stocked with a great location.
Three bedrooms upstairs and two in the basement gave us ample space.
I would definitely recommend for the future.
