Start each morning in the fully equipped kitchen and brew a cup of coffee to enjoy out on the deck as you wave to the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad Train which passes right behind the house! When days come to a close, the warmth of the gas fireplace will welcome you with open arms as everyone kicks back on the plush sofa while watching a favorite movie on the mounted TV.
Bring your fishing gear and enjoy fishing in the hatchery-supported, trout-stocked waters of The Tuck (fishing is closed in March). During the summer months bring your floats and tube down the river in the sunshine. Feel lucky? Just eight miles away is the Harrah's Cherokee Casino open 24/7. Experience the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and Blue Ridge Parkway, both just 12 miles away if you have a few outdoorsy guests. Want to stay close but venture outside? Check out Uncle Bill's Flea Market on Highway 74E just a few miles from the cottage (between Dillsboro and Cherokee).

Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. The driveway is 1.1 miles long and gravel. 4WD/traction may be required in winter. Highway 74 has traffic in the summer. You may hear road noise.

Great little cabin. Our family of 6 fit perfectly. The manger was great and very responsive to any and all questions we had during our stay. We enjoyed the fire pit by the river. It was a beautiful trip.

The hot tub was clean but not heated when we checked in. Took it about 20 hours to go from 74 degrees to 100 degrees. Very long gravel road which is one lane and traffic flows in both directions was the only real negative about this location. Sometimes we would have to back up 150 foot or so to a driveway to allow someone to pass. Beautiful place.

The house was fine, it was like the pictures. We rented this house through VRBO, I hate having to download an addional app to get into the house.
We reached put to Vacasa as soon as we arrived to ask about getting a door to the porch unlocked. The two glass doors to use to walk out onto the porch you see in the picture next to the fireplace are locked. Meaning you have to go out the front door and go all the way around the house to get to the hot tub.
When we called we were connected to corporate vacasa and we're told the "local" team would reach out to us. We were never contacted by the local team. Not to tell us yes or no, just radio silence. Also they had people come weedeat on Saturday morning and we were not told they were coming. We were woken up my the sound of the machines and the people coming up onto the porch to do whatever they were doing. The communication from Vacasa was terrible unless they were trying to get us to "rate" them. I would not recommend using Vacasa.
