First trip to Highlands, NC and it was absolutely wonderful! We stayed at Stephen Cottage, about 15 min to town. The house was amazing. Super cute, spacious, spotless, well stocked kitchen, and beautifully decorated. No sofa, all chairs that were extremely comfortable and reclined. Large TV, fireplace, and extra throws all helping make movie night very enjoyable. Kitchen was also very well stocked. Plenty of silverware, mugs, glasses, plates, and bowls. Lots of pots and pans, toaster, and coffee maker. Knives were of all sizes and actually sharp. Spacious closets, king beds, comfortable mattress and pillows. Washer/dryer with soap pods provided.My favorite part of the house was the big front porch and comfortable furniture. Coffee out there in the morning was a great way to start the day. There was also a wood filled chiminea and 4 Adirondacks at the other end.All in all this house was perfect! Would definitely book again.P.S. My pup, Dixie, loved it too!

This townhouse is clean, beautifully furnished, and in a lovely, quiet location close to town and restaurants. However, we found the mattresses, pillows, and living room furniture extremely hard and uncomfortable causing back and neck pain. The television remotes in the bedrooms didn't work properly. This could be an amazing rental with mattress and furniture changes.
