Escape to a quiet lakeside getaway on beautiful Lost Lake — featuring fishing, kayaks, paddleboard, swimming raft, firepit, and cozy cabin comforts. Ideal for families and respectful small groups seeking a quiet getaway with beautiful sunrise views, classic Up North charm and modern essentials.
Lost Lake is a small, private lake with no public boat access and the kind of calm that’s getting harder to find.
Whether you're sipping coffee on the porch, enjoying the water, or gathering around the fire at night, this property is designed for relaxing, reconnecting, and savoring the great Northwoods.
HOME FEATURES:
• Open concept with stone wood-burning fireplace
• Full kitchen
• Dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker
• Filtered drinking water
• Laundry in basement
• Heat
• Linens provided
• Board games for rainy days and family nights
LAKE AMENITIES:
Lost Lake has clear water and outstanding fishing. Catch bass, bluegill and other panfish right from the dock or canoe. The lake is often calm like a mirror at dawn and dusk. In order to keep fishing fantastic, we kindly request that guests catch and release.
Guests are welcome to enjoy our included non-motorized lake amenities:
• Canoe
• 2 kayaks
• Pedal boat
• Swimming raft
• Inflatables
You’re also welcome to relax on the pontoon boat while it’s docked (not available for use/rental).
Please note: The water is sandy/firm near the dock but does become mucky farther out, which is typical of many small northern lakes. There are also public boat landings in wonderful nearby lakes if you would like to bring your own boat.
OTHER OUTSIDE AMENITIES:
• Campfire pit with Adirondack chairs
• Large porch with rocking chairs, patio table and lake views
• Private setting
HOUSE RULES & ATMOSPHERE:
This is a family-oriented lake retreat — not a party property.
To preserve the atmosphere for our neighbors and guests:
• No parties or events
• No extra/unauthorized guests
• Quiet hours: 11 PM – 7 AM
