Positives: the place was clean, and generally well appointed. Felt comfortably large for a studio apartment. The bathroom had been updated with marble floor and wall tiles and new fixtures. New fridge, small microwave and an old gas stove. It was warm but we could open the windows.
We found several good places to eat within easy walking distance.
Cons: Beware - This is a FOURTH FLOOR WALK UP! It was a bear to get our large luggage up all those stairs! Other small stuff: no washcloths, only towels. No rack to hang the towels. The bed was comfortable but had winter blankets that were way too warm for summer heat, so it was either a thin sheet or too hot blanket. The entrance area for the building had a discarded TV and old pizza boxes lying about. The lockboxes were tricky but worked if you followed the directions carefully. Note that the outside doors lock behind you and you have to push a special button to the left of doors to get out ( which
was not noted in the information sent ).
We were awakened a couple of times in the night by extremely loud cars street racing…
The place is fine for someone in good shape without a lot of luggage. I would not stay again.
