About this house rental
Cozy older holiday home in old style, modernized in 2022. Final cleaning is included in the price. The holiday home has a combined living room and kitchen. One bedroom with double bed and bunk bed for 2 people. Outside there is a small terrace. Near the cottage there is a swimming pool, 10x10 m, in the river. Bathing possibilities from shallow sandy beach, 200m from the cottage. Day trips: Refviksanden, 32 km from the holiday home. 32 km from Måløy is Kannesteinen, a rock-shaped rock formed by the sea. 56 km to the Western Cape, one of the most spectacular viewpoints along the coast of Norway. 34 km and a ferry to Trollholet, an approx. 20 meters high and 30 meters deep cave on Husevågøy, an exciting cave from the Iron Age. The hiking trail to Trollholet starts in the idyllic coastal village of Husevåg and passes a field of petroglyphs from the Bronze Age. 1.5-2 hours to famous nature experiences such as Briksdalsbreen, Strynefjellet, Loen Skylift with commuter train from fjord to mountain in 5 minutes and Hoven view restaurant 1100 m.o.h. Via Ferrata / airy suspension bridge 750 m.o.h., in Loen. 2-2.5 hours from the holiday home are Geiranger and Ålesund. Covered filleting bench with light and running water. 400 m to rental boat: 1x18 foot Silver Viking with 30 HP Suzuki.

Great value for money! The holiday home is well-maintained, and the kitchen had all the essentials, We especially loved the easy access to the river for a quick swim, Would definitely return!

Super nice and welcoming owners, The house had everything we needed, like a fully equipped kitchen and comfy beds, We were a group of 4, and it was spacious enough for all of us, The only downside was that the WiFi wasn't available, but we didn't mind too much since we were there to explore, Definitely would come back for another stay!
