Dalarstuen, historic summer house in Liseleje

Welcome to 'Dalarstuen' - a historic cottage surrounded by beautiful nature and just a short stroll from an idyllic sandy beach. This gem offers a time travel back to the 1940s with its original plank floors and mullioned windows creating an atmospheric setting for your stay.



Inside, a warm and welcoming atmosphere awaits with two en-suite living rooms, a carpenter's kitchen, and a closet filled with board games and nostalgia from 60s Donald Duck magazines. Each room tells its own story, and the dining room opens onto the covered terrace. The house was built by a Swedish couple who came from Dalarna in Sweden - hence the name of the house. The woman was an artist and spent her time in the house hand-decorating furniture and other interiors, as well as creating the unique paper cuts with motifs from Dalarna that still adorn the walls of the dining room today.



Outside, the large garden awaits with its majestic birch tree, a trampoline and swing set for play, and the fire pit invites you to gather around the fire. The patio on the other side of the house invites you to relax and enjoy dinner in the evening sun. Nature is always close by - with birdsong, squirrels and deer as regular guests.



The beach awaits with its pebbles and lagoons, while nearby Hyllingebjerg beach offers magnificent views and adventure. Nearby, Lerbjerggård and the ecological community Dyssekilde are nearby for organic experiences, and for water sports enthusiasts, Lynæs Surfcenter is a must. Don't miss local delicacies at 'Madbaren' or a day filled with history at Knud Rasmussen's house.
