Who this suits:
Visiting academics, researchers, and writers on a sabbatical or fellowship who want a real kitchen and a proper place to settle in instead of a hotel room. Professionals relocating between leases. Couples taking a long working visit to NYC, with room for a kid, a parent, or a friend on the sofa bed. Production crew, broadcast staff, or journalists on extended assignment.
Basics:
Three guests maximum. Pets warmly welcome, dogs and cats, no extra fee, we're dog people ourselves. Fort Greene Park is a five-minute walk for daily walks and play. Free street parking on the block (alternate-side rules apply Mondays and Tuesdays, easy to work around).
The space:
Generous kitchen, dining and living area, and a spacious, light-filled bedroom. One bedroom, one bath. Full bed sleeps two, with a sofa bed in the living room for a third guest. Air conditioning throughout. Garden floor of a brownstone on a quiet, tree-lined corner, with your own entrance and a lockbox so you can self check in any time after 2 PM. A laundromat is a short walk away on Waverly Avenue. Pet friendly, and we mean it: dogs and cats welcome, no extra fee.
Getting around:
The C train from Clinton Washington Avenues runs direct to 34th Street Penn Station in under 20 minutes, putting Midtown, the Theater District, and Hudson Yards within easy reach. The G train is also two blocks away for a direct run to Queens or deeper into Brooklyn.
The neighborhood:
Clinton Hill is a historic, walkable brownstone pocket between Fort Greene and Bed Stuy. You'll be a short stroll from top restaurants, cafes, museums, and gardens, and within walking distance of both Fort Greene Park and Prospect Park. BAM, the Brooklyn Museum, and the Brooklyn Botanic Garden are all a quick ride. Pratt Institute is around the corner, NYU and Columbia are a straightforward subway ride away.

Minimum stay 30 nights, year-round. A 30+ day rental keeps the booking straightforward under NYC rental rules and works for academic semesters, sabbaticals, production schedules, or simply a proper long visit to the city.

We have wonderful and tolerant neighbors and tenants. But please be respectful, No parties, no loud noises or loud music.
