From the harbor, located about 500 meters away, you can take boat trips to Hiddensee Island, go on Bodden cruises, take crane-watching tours, and—from late June through early September—attend the Störtebeker Festival. Excellent cycling and hiking opportunities to explore the beautiful island. Pets allowed by arrangement (fee: 5 euros per night per pet).
