About this cabin rental
Welcome to Walnut Roost with a beautiful view of the NC mountains! Snuggle on the sofa in front of the gas fireplace or enjoy the sights and sounds of nature from the back porch or fire pit. Conveniently located 15 min to downtown Boone, 20 min to Banner Elk, and 5 min to Valle Crucis.
Cabin sleeps 8 plus has arcade games, remote work space w/27in monitor, EV charger (type 2), ample outdoor porch sitting space, and a fire pit stocked with firewood. Come enjoy a peaceful getaway!

There is private parking for two vehicles.
Main level entry has bedroom with king bed and private bathroom. Cook your meals in this generously stocked kitchen with granite countertops and stainless appliances.
Upper deck is off the main living area and is the perfect spot to gaze at the beautiful mountain view! Enjoy the game room, located off the upper deck. In the game room you’ll find a 2-person Pac Man console with >400 games and a Big Buck Hunter arcade console. There are many card and board game options as well.
The lower level has a second living space with a sofa bed. Living area has a desk and chair, ready for your remote work, complete with 27-inch monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
Bedroom in the lower level has twin-twin bunk beds and a queen bed. Bathroom has entry from both the bedroom and living area.
Lower level deck has outdoor seating where you can enjoy a cup of coffee and those stunning views.
Off the lower deck are approximately 50 steps leading to the stone fire pit. Pathway has solar lighting to guide you at night. Fire pit is stocked with firewood and there is a big rock bench and 4 Adirondack chairs.
