Right in the heart of Holstein Switzerland—and with the Baltic Sea just a stone’s throw away—this apartment in Plön is your retreat for relaxing, swimming, and enjoying life. Here, your vacation begins right outside the door.
Your Accommodation
The highlight awaits you right on the water: your own furnished terrace with a grill and a dock right in the garden—perfect for sunbathing, relaxing, and taking a dip in the clear, swimmable lake water. Long summer evenings are the perfect time to unwind here with a barbecue and a view of the water.
Inside, the apartment welcomes you with a bright, cozy, and fully equipped space—just arrive and feel right at home. The fully equipped kitchen invites you to cook, the comfortable 160-cm-wide bed ensures restful nights, and free Wi-Fi keeps you connected. Fresh bed linens and towels are provided for you (no beach towels).
Upon arrival, I’ll welcome you personally, hand you the keys, and gladly answer any questions you may have about the apartment and the surrounding area. The location puts you just minutes away from the lakeshore, shops, and cafés—an ideal starting point for nature, water sports, and relaxing days as a couple or with the family.
Your Areas
You have the entire apartment at your disposal, as well as the adjoining terrace with furniture and a grill. Of course, the private dock on the lake is also part of your stay—use it for sunbathing, relaxing, and swimming in the clear water.
Occupancy & Visitors:
The apartment is designed for a maximum of 2 guests.
Overnight guests are permitted only by prior arrangement.
Parties and events are not permitted.
Quiet Hours: Please respect the quiet hours for the benefit of everyone: before 7:00 a.m. and after 10:00 p.m. During these times, we ask that you keep noise to a minimum—this ensures a restful environment for you and the neighborhood.
Smoking & Pets:
Smoking is permitted only outside on the terrace, not inside the apartment.
Pets are not allowed.
Water Safety:
Use of the dock and lake, as well as swimming, is at your own risk.
Please keep children under supervision when near the water.
Please exercise caution when using the dock.
Check-in & Check-out:
In-person check-in or self-check-in if I am away.
Barbecue:
Please clean the grill after use and let it cool down.
No barbecuing during storms or periods of extreme drought.
Energy & Environment:
Please turn off the heat and lights when leaving the apartment.
Close the windows when it’s raining or when you’re away.
When Leaving & Cleanliness:
Please wash the dishes.
Please sort and dispose of trash according to the posted instructions.
Please leave the patio and deck as clean as you found them.
Liability & Damage:
Please treat the apartment, furnishings, and outdoor areas with care.
Please report any damage immediately.

In Plön, a tourist tax is charged, which automatically entitles you to the “ostseecard” guest card—it provides you with discounts and benefits at many shops, restaurants, and recreational facilities in the region. The tax is €2.00 per person per night (high season, May–September) or €1.00 (early and late season). Children and teenagers under 18 are exempt. The visitor’s tax is billed on-site in addition to the rental price and must be paid in cash—I’ll hand you the guest card personally upon arrival.
