About this apartment rental
Welcome to our 3rd floor penthouse loft at Northstar. The loft is located only minutes by foot to the Northstar gondola, village, rec center and nature trails. It’s right next to all the action, but tranquil in the trees. Enjoy our peaceful balcony watching the birds or the snow fall. Whether you’re looking to relax, be active, work remote (or all the above!), our loft is the perfect spot for you (and even your pup).
The loft is located on the top, 3rd floor of a building with no elevator. In our opinion the stairs are worth the privacy and peace and quiet, but please keep the stairs in mind when booking and grocery shopping for your stay (but groceries can be delivered!)
Otherwise, our home has everything you need for your getaway.
Start your morning off right with our fully stocked coffee/tea bar along with assorted snacks to fuel up before hitting the slopes.
Feel like eating in after a long day? The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessities - nice pots and pans, good knives, spices, oil, condiments, etc - to cook up a delicious meal.
Kick back and relax in the living room on the comfy oversized couch by the gas fireplace. Watch TV on the 70in smart TV with cable (including HBO & Showtime) or cast your favorite movie using the Chromecast. Working from home is easy from the large peninsula with the dependable high speed internet. Looking to unplug? We have various books, games, and puzzles to keep you occupied indoors as well.
The bedroom loft is located upstairs with a queen sized bed. For additional guests, the sofa downstairs pulls out to a queen bed or you can use the linens and blankets to sleep on the couch as is (we think it’s pretty comfy).
The bathroom has all the essentials including quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash along with extra soft plush towels. And your feet will stay warm with the heated floors.
If bringing your pup, let us know! We have lots of goodies to make it feel like home - comfy bed, water/food bowls, and even some special treats.
Guest Access:
Ski Locker: All guests have access to our 1st floor indoor ski locker to store gear.
Shuttle: There is a free shuttle service available to the village through the Northstar phone app for easy access to the mountain and general transportation. The stop is conveniently located in the parking lot steps from the unit. The snowboarders find it easier to walk to the gondola even in heavy snow while the skiers prefer the bus.
Rec Center: All guests have access to the NPOA recreation center located near the village ($10/guest per day). Here you will find a full gym, sauna, pools/splash pad, hot tubs, playground, tennis & pickleball courts, bocce ball, and a basketball hoop.
Laundry: There is a shared laundry room in the building with washer and dryer. Key code will be provided.
Other Things to Note:
While we love all animals, we only accept dogs in our home. Dogs must be house trained and cannot be left unattended if they are a constant barker - it will disrupt our permanent neighbors and other vacationers.
