About this campground/ rv resort rental
Located in the rugged Land O’ Lakes region of Eastern Ontario, the wilderness camp is a private, 300-acre wilderness, bordering on the pristine Salmon River as well as Cade Lake (a small lake, part of the Salmon River system).
We offer a rustic, but comfortable camping experience, in a large, fully insulated private yurt, just steps away from the flowing river.
Activities include hiking for kilometres along the beautiful Salmon River, paddling for hours on the river and lake, relaxing in the screened gazebo, swimming in the private swimming hole, and enjoying a cozy evening stargazing through the domed skylight. A summer paradise!
There is no running water and no electricity.
The trails are not suitable for ATVs – no off-roading allowed on our property. Also, hunting is not allowed anywhere on the property.
EXTRA: We can provide dry firewood for the outdoor firepit for $10 per large bag (enough for one or two nights by the campfire). If you would like any campfire wood, please let us know in advance and we will update your reservation. (Note: We provide all the wood you will need for heating the yurt for free.)
