About this apartment rental

Fully refurbished, in a historical building, my home is a bright open-space attic, with a private bathroom, kitchen, double bed, a large sofa with a projector+home theatre system (Sonos), air-con (Daikin), and an office corner;
It’s a quiet & bright penthouse despite being in the city`s heart.
It is just 2 minutes away from Cadorna station, which has subways, trams, buses, and the Malpensa Express train. It`s an easy walk to the castle, the duomo, etc.
You can be autonomous for check-in and out

The attic is the only property on the top floor, apart from my small studio, next door. The building is from the 1900 and is a timeless beauty in typical Milanese style. The area is extremely safe.
Two Daikin Emura air-conditioning units are oversized for the attic volume, making it warm in winter or really fresh in summer.
As it is on the top floor, you will get a lot of sunlight and see the stars at night, if you are lucky!
There are many plants inside, so please leave the curtains open when you leave home during the day so they can get some photosynthesis going.
The place has been recently refurbished, and I’m always pleased to hear any suggestions to make it even better!
This is not the typical building for tourist, so please be considerate of the neighbors.
Being an attic, if you are super-tall, you better watch your head from the beams ;)

The flat is on the top floor has two entrance doors: the one on the left of the stairs is yours. The keys are in the lockbox outside the door on your right. You can access anytime after the check in time.
Cadorna station is around the corner and has direct trains to the airport and the central station.
The closest parking lot is: `ParkQuintoAlpini”.
Driving a car in the Milanese historical city center is generally not allowed (nor recommended) unless a fee is paid online (check out the AreaC website).

The location is just fantastic in my opinion: it is really close to all the good things Milan can offer and really well connected with the green line, the red line, the Malpensa Express, and a few trams, all right under the home.
There is a 24H 7/7 supermarket just outside (in Cadorna station), and you have the biggest park in Milan, Parco Sempione, 2 minutes away.
You have fancy restaurants as well as plenty of `aperitivo places` at `Arco della pace` and you are within walking distance from Duomo, the Castle, Navigli, etc.
A nice place to grab food could be `Mamma Olivia`, just below the place, and you could choose Leonardo or Sugar to try a proper Milanese breakfast.

This is probably the best connected area of Milan, a city overall very well served with public transportation and easy to explore!
I have a bicycle, which is my favorite and probably the most convenient way to explore Milan, but, once again, in a 2-minute walk, you have two subways lines and plenty of buses, trams, trains to the airport (Malpensa Express) and to Como lake; taxis are right under the building too.
If the weather is nice, I`d still suggest you walk or cycle as the streets to get to Duomo or to Sempione or to Brera are all pretty nice.

Please note that there are a few steps to access the apartment, even though the elevator covers 90% of the climb.

Please remember that this is a luxury estate in a prime area of Milan. Do not be loud at night, and let me know if anything is bothering you.

Precise check-in information will be shared upon booking.
-No shoes at home, please

-The sofa is white; I`d like to keep it that way :)

- Please always manually close the elevator door, or it won`t work for you and others.

- Please remember to close the Velux windows anytime you leave the space, and please dry up in case some water drops, as the floor is made of natural wood and water damage can happen fairly easily.

- Please remember to avoid loud noises at night, and let me know in case a neighbour is being too noisy and it bothers you.

- Please switch the AC and the Lights off if you are not at home as it is incredibly polluting to leave everything on all the time.

- Please flush the toilet abundantly, keep pressing the toilet flushing button till the water finishes.

-As the entire place has wooden floors, please dry up any water that spills in the bathroom and kitchen.

-Smoking isn’t allowed.
