About this apartment rental

In a historical, well-refurbished building, this is your small but bright and quiet studio. It has a private bathroom and a double bed, in the city`s heart. It’s very safe and an ideal base to explore Milan, 2 minutes away from Cadorna station, which has subways, trains to Como, buses, and the Malpensa Express train to the airport.
Also, you can be autonomous for check-in and out (late-night arrivals are welcome).
PS: if you are very tall, you might want to book my attic instead. See you soon!

The place has been recently refurbished and is in one of the nicest buildings in Milan. The entire attic is the only flat on the top floor. The small independent studio is part of it, and I use it to welcome guests; the studio has a separate entrance door, a 135X185cm bed, and a private bathroom.
A Daikin Emura air-conditioning unit is surely oversized for the studio`s volume, which makes it quickly hot or fresh.
The neighbor is among the safest in the entire city.
As it is on the top floor, you will get a lot of sunlight and see the stars at night, if you are lucky.
There is not too much storage space, so I suggest my place to `light travelers` or, anyway, to guests who do not need to hang plenty of things and stay for very long.
Also, being an attic, you better watch your head from the beams if you are super-tall!
I`ll be thrilled to hear any suggestions to make it even better.

The flat is on the top floor and has two entrance doors: one is yours, right in front of the stairs, and it will give you complete independent access to your studio.
You can access any time after the chicken time. Cadorna has direct access with a train to the airport and to the central station.
The closest parking lot is: `ParkQuintoAlpini.`
It is not allowed to drive a car in the Milanese historical city center unless a fee is paid online (look for aria c).

The location is just fantastic in my opinion: it is really close to all good things Milan has to offer, safe and really well connected with the green line, the red line, the Malpensa Express and few tram and taxis all under the home.
There is a 24H 7/7 supermarket just outside (in Cadorna station) and you have the biggest park of Milan, Parco Sempione, just two minutes away.
You have fancy restaurants as well as plenty of casual `aperitivo places` at Arco della pace or in Brera, and you are within walking distance from Duomo, the Castle, Navigli, etc.
A nice place to grab food could be `Mamma Olivia`, just below the place, and you could choose Leonardo or Sugar to try a proper Milanese breakfast.

This is probably the most well-connected area of Milan, a city overall very well connected and easy to explore!
I have a bicycle, which is my favorite and probably the most convenient way to go around Milan, but, once again, in a 2-minute walk, you have two subways lines and plenty of buses, trams, trains to the airport (Malpensa Express) and to Como lake; taxis are right under the building too.
If the weather is nice, I`d still suggest you walk or cycle as the streets to get to Duomo or to Sempione or to Brera are all pretty nice.

Please note that few steps are needed to reach the studio: the elevator covers 4 floors out of 5.
Please consider the studio as your `pied a terre`: it is your space, and you have all you need; you are right in the center, but remember it`s a `Tokyo-sized` kind of place, so don`t expect to run around too much playing hide and seek.
Once here:
- Please always manually close the elevator door, or it won`t work for you and others.
- Please remember to close the Velux windows anytime you leave the space, and please dry up in case some water drops, as the floor is made of natural wood and water damage can happen fairly easily.
- Please remember to avoid loud noises at night, and let me know in case a neighbour is being too noisy and it bothers you.
- Please switch the AC and the Lights off if you are not at home as it is incredibly polluting to leave everything on all the time.
- Please flush abundantly, keep pressing the toilet flushing button till the water finishes.
