About this cabin rental
Our cabin is available for stays late spring through the spectacular fall-color season. Whether you’re planning a family vacation, a fishing trip, a couples’ getaway, girls’ long weekend or a relaxing week in the woods, it’s the perfect place to unplug and reconnect with nature.
Nestled amidst the serene beauty of the Northwoods, our thoughtfully updated three-bedroom cabin features a stunning vaulted ceiling that creates an inviting, spacious atmosphere. Designed to retain the timeless warmth and charm of a classic Wisconsin lake retreat, the cabin comfortably accommodates families and small groups, making it an ideal destination for gatherings of all kinds. Expansive windows bathe the living spaces in natural light and frame picturesque views of the tranquil waters just outside.
Start your day with a cup of coffee as you gaze out over the lake, then spend your afternoons immersed in water activities, whether boating, paddling or simply relaxing by the shore. As evening falls, take in a game of cornhole, cook out and save room for smores as you gather around the fire under a canopy of stars. If the weather's not cooperating, stay inside and enjoy games or a show on the big screen projector TV. Little Spider Lake, with its quiet allure and access to the entire Spider Lake Chain, offers the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, ensuring your stay is both memorable and rejuvenating.
Guests can enjoy:
• Excellent fishing for musky, walleye, bass and panfish
• Kayaking and canoeing (someday soon we hope to have kayaks or a canoe available, but for now we invite you to bring your own)
• Full water recreation just outside the bay
• Paddleboarding on calm waters (bring your own)
• Swimming on nearby sandbars (water near our dock is clear but the bottom is silty, making it unsuitable for swimming)
• Watching loons, bald eagles, deer and other wildlife
When you’re ready to venture out, you’ll find some of northern Wisconsin’s best outdoor recreation nearby, including:
• CAMBA world-class mountain biking trails
• Horseback riding
• Hiking through the Chequamegon National Forest
• Local golf courses
• Downtown Hayward’s shops, restaurants, breweries and local events – just 15 minutes away
Summertime rentals give access to the lake via a private dock slip with power. We have a 20-foot pontoon boat for rent. The boat is at the dock and ready to take you all over the Spider Chain of Lakes. Reach out for info on availability and rental.
