BEDROOM WITH THE KING BED — King-size bed, desk and chair, bookcase, wardrobe with mirror, wall-mounted TV, air conditioning. Blackout curtains and French door onto the balcony.
BEDROOM WITH THE WROUGHT-IRON BED — Double bed, desk, full-length mirror, open shelving with hangers, wall-mounted TV, air conditioning. Private bathroom with rain shower, bidet, heated towel rail and backlit mirror.
LIVING ROOM — Double sofa bed (guests 5 and 6), dining table, TV, Wi-Fi.
KITCHEN — Oven, hob, microwave, fridge with freezer, Lavazza A Modo Mio capsule coffee machine, French press, toaster, kettle, pots, dishes and glasses.
SECOND BATHROOM — Next to the kitchen: shower cabin, washbasin, WC. Hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap provided.
Heating throughout. Linens, towels and toiletries included.
Guest Access:
The apartment is entirely yours: no shared spaces, nobody else has a key.
Self check-in: the front door has a smart lock with a keypad and your personal code reaches you before arrival. Street door, second building in the courtyard, lift to the fifth floor. Step-by-step instructions with photos arrive in the days before check-in.
Check-in from 2 pm, check-out by 10 am. We can't store luggage before check-in or after check-out: the apartment is cleaned between stays.
The Neighborhood:
Prenestino-Centocelle is a real Roman neighbourhood, lived in by Romans: bakeries, bars for a coffee at the counter, supermarkets and pizza-by-the-slice a few steps away. 500 metres away, Villa Gordiani park, with the remains of a Roman villa, for a run or a walk.
Two metro stops away is Pigneto, the district of bars, restaurants and evening life. Six stops away, the Colosseum and the Forum, and from there the historic centre is on foot.
If you want a quiet, well-connected street at neighbourhood prices, with monumental Rome ten minutes away by metro, this is the place. If you want to see the Colosseum from the window, it isn't: from here you take the metro.
Getting Around:
METRO — Teano station (line C) is 250 metres away, a 3-minute walk. Colosseo/Fori Imperiali is the sixth stop, about 10 minutes, no changes; there you connect to line B (Termini two stops away). San Giovanni is the fourth stop, with the connection to line A (Spanish Steps, Vatican). The metro runs from 5:30 am to 11:30 pm, until 1:30 am on Fridays and Saturdays.
TRAM — On Via Prenestina, about a 10-minute walk: lines 5 and 14 to Termini, line 19 to Porta Maggiore and Piazza Risorgimento (Vatican).
AIRPORTS — Fiumicino: metro to Termini, then the Leonardo Express, about an hour and a quarter; 45-60 minutes by taxi. Ciampino: 25-30 minutes by taxi, or bus to Termini.
CAR — Free street parking in the surrounding streets, outside the ZTL.
Other Things to Note:
CHECK-IN — 2 pm to 9 pm is included. From 9 pm to 12:30 am (latest arrival) there is a 15 € supplement: even with self check-in, a member of our staff stays on call for you in that window.
TOURIST TAX — In Rome it is 6 € per person per night for the first 10 nights (children under 10 are exempt). Depending on the site you book through, it is collected with the booking or on arrival.
HOUSE — No parties or events; after 10 pm please keep the volume at apartment-building level. No smoking indoors. Coin laundry in the area.
