About this cabin rental

Summary:

Reserve our entire property with sleeping for up to 38 people. Includes (4) early appalachian style cabins, (3) beautiful glamping tents, entertainment building, fishing pond, wedding area / ampitheater & more, all on 8.5 wooded acres in the mountains! Perfect for reunions, weddings, & retreats.

The Space:

Welcome to The Cabins at Copperhill, a private rustic mountain retreat designed for groups, families, retreats, reunions, and small DIY-style events.

Tucked into 8.5 wooded acres in the mountains of Copperhill, Tennessee, this full-property booking gives your group exclusive use of our cabin village, including 4 rustic Appalachian-style cabins, 3 seasonal glamping tents, The Lodge gathering space, firepits, hot tubs, outdoor seating areas, a catch-and-release fishing pond, and wooded gathering spaces.

The property can sleep up to 38 guests when all cabins and tents are used at full bed capacity, making it ideal for family reunions, friend getaways, church retreats, small weddings, retreats, bachelor/bachelorette weekends, and groups who want a private mountain setting all to themselves.

The Cabins at Copperhill is not a luxury resort — and that is part of its charm. Our cabins are simple, rustic, and inspired by early Appalachian mountain living. Guests come here to slow down, gather around the fire, enjoy the outdoors, and experience the feeling of having their own little mountain village.

Your group will enjoy access to The Lodge, our shared gathering space featuring a pool table, ping-pong table, jukebox-style music system, teak bar, bathrooms, picnic tables, a large gas grill, and nearby fire-ring areas with Adirondack chairs and free firewood.

The property is also close to some of the best outdoor adventures in the region, including the Ocoee River, world-class whitewater rafting, trout fishing, ziplining, waterfall hikes, Cherokee National Forest, and the mountain towns of Copperhill, McCaysville, and Blue Ridge.

For small events, we operate as a DIY-friendly venue. You are welcome to bring your own planner, caterer, vendors, decorations, and setup, as long as everything is approved in advance and follows our property rules.

Guest Access:

The only places off-limits on the property are the owners residence, the workshop building and the internal laundry.

The Neighborhood:

The Cabins at Copperhill are tucked away on 8.5 wooded acres in the mountains of East Tennessee, just minutes from the Ocoee River, Cherokee National Forest, and the charming twin towns of Copperhill, Tennessee and McCaysville, Georgia.

Our property feels peaceful, private, and a little removed from the rush of everyday life, but guests are still close to plenty of things to do. Spend the day whitewater rafting on the famous Ocoee River, hiking nearby trails, chasing waterfalls, exploring local shops, visiting wineries and breweries, or taking a short drive to Blue Ridge, Georgia.

This area is known for outdoor adventure, mountain scenery, small-town charm, and a slower pace. Guests love that they can enjoy campfires, wooded views, hot tubs, and quiet evenings here, while still being close to restaurants, river outfitters, scenic drives, and local attractions.

The neighborhood is rural and rustic, so guests should expect mountain roads, trees, wildlife, gravel drives, and a peaceful cabin-village setting rather than a crowded resort or subdivision.

Getting Around:

A car is necessary for getting around this area. The Cabins at Copperhill are located in a rural mountain setting, so there is no reliable public transportation or ride-share service nearby.

Most guests drive to local restaurants, shops, river outfitters, hiking areas, and nearby towns. Copperhill, Tennessee and McCaysville, Georgia are just a short drive away, and Blue Ridge, Georgia is about 15 miles from the property.

Guests should expect rural mountain roads, some gravel drives, curves, hills, and limited nighttime lighting. We recommend arriving before dark when possible, especially for your first visit. Standard vehicles are usually fine, but guests should drive slowly and carefully on the property and surrounding roads.

Other Things to Note:
