*Follow us on Instagram at @staychalet75 for all the inside info!* Welcome to Chalet 75 in the historic Der Kastle building, a throwback to the charm of 1975 when this condo was built by the founder of Schweitzer Mountain Resort, Jack Fowler (notice his wife's original art throughout the condo!). This condo has been beautifully remodeled and enjoys a central location at Schweitzer Mountain Resort, just a 10-minute walk from the Village — or catch the Schweitzer Shuttle on weekends, which passes right by the condo on its continuous loop.
This year-round mountain retreat blends vintage character with thoughtful modern updates, all set behind a dramatic two-story rock fireplace and floor-to-ceiling wood paneling that give the space its warm, timeless lodge feel. Vaulted ceilings and a charming loft add to the sense of space, while walls of windows throughout, frame sweeping views of the surrounding peaks and ski runs.
THE SPACE
You'll enter through your own private entrance, keeping the space fully separate and secluded from neighboring units. The open-concept living and dining area is the heart of the home, anchored by that striking fireplace and filled with cozy leather seating, a mix of vintage-inspired decor, a dining table that seats six, and a bar that seats four. Two private balconies open off the main floor and master bedroom. The chef's kitchen has been outfitted with updated appliances and finishes while keeping its cabin charm intact — you'll have everything you need for cooking up a meal after a day on the mountain, including olive oil and many spices. We offer a coffee station complete with a dual single-serve Keurig and full-size coffee pot, along with tea, to-go cups, and all the accessories. The condo is heated by a gas fireplace and baseboard heaters, which have been reconfigured with smart wi-fi thermostats.
Guests will be able to have access to our "Corporate Pass" allowing for a free daily ski pass - a savings of up to $120 per day! Guests can switch off daily use of the pass, meaning whoever is in physical possession of the pass can use it - no limit for daily use, so go ahead and split up your ski day. If the physical pass is lost or damaged, there will be a $50 replacement fee.
Four floors of living space include a lower-level garage and ski storage; a second floor with the living area, kitchen, dining, half bath, laundry, and hot tub room; a third floor with bedrooms and two full baths; and a cozy, enclosed loft on the top floor, accessible by a wooden ladder. Kids will love the twin-over-full bunk beds in the loft!
The bedrooms are designed for real rest: expect Leesa mattresses paired with high-end, hotel-quality linens, plush pillows, and warm wood-paneled walls that keep the mountain lodge feeling consistent throughout.
Enjoy a personalized spa-like experience with our smart bidets, featuring adjustable front and rear wash functions, continuous warm water, a heated seat, a warm air dryer, and touchless features including foot-kick auto flush, remote control operation, and soft night lighting for added convenience. Please note: the automatic odor neutralizer activates upon sitting to help maintain a fresh, clean bathroom at all times. This feature cannot be turned off, and its fan noise can occasionally surprise guests.
One of Chalet 75's standout features is the private cedar hot tub room — a secluded, wood-lined retreat with sliding doors that open right onto the mountain, with views of the ski runs and a smart TV, so you can soak surrounded by cozy comforts any season of the year.
Practical comforts round things out: the private garage fits a small SUV, ideal for ski gear, snow days, or just keeping your car out of the elements. The garage space available for parking is 20 ft. deep, 8 ft. wide, and 6.5 ft. tall. You'll also find bikes available for exploring the resort, making this just as ideal for a summer mountain biking trip as a winter ski getaway. Two sets of snowshoes and sleds for the kids are provided in winter, and books, games, art supplies, phone chargers, and 6 smart TVs will keep everyone entertained.
Every detail, from the vintage stonework to the modern comforts tucked throughout, has been thoughtfully updated to make this a true four-season mountain home.
GUEST ACCESS
Guests have full access to the house, with the exception of a kitchen pantry and an upstairs linen closet. Parking is available for one smaller SUV inside the garage, plus two spots in front of the garage. Please do not park across the street — it's private property used for Schweitzer Mountain Shuttle parking.
Guests will be given a 4-digit lock code that works for all 3 deadbolt locks.
