Oak Forest is an established, wooded residential neighborhood in Albemarle County with a Charlottesville mailing address. It feels tucked away and quiet, but it is conveniently located near the Hydraulic Road, Route 29 and Route 250 corridors. Stonefield, Barracks Road Shopping Center, grocery stores, restaurants and everyday services are all nearby.
The neighborhood primarily consists of detached homes built around the late 1970s and early 1980s. Homes vary in size and style, but many sit on approximately quarter-acre to four-tenths-acre wooded lots. Mature trees, private backyards, circular streets and traditional architecture give it a more established feel than newer subdivisions. There is a balance of privacy and convenience. The setting feels residential rather than commercial, yet guests would not be isolated from Charlottesville’s major employment, shopping and dining areas.


A YALE lock is on the mudroom door and you will be provided with a unique door code within a couple days of check-in.


One level living on the main level of the home. With one-level living available on the main floor, two primary suites, multiple living spaces and generous storage, the home offers the flexibility needed for a comfortable extended stay.

Bedroom 1: Main-Level Primary Suite
The main-level primary suite includes a king bed, private ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet. It also offers direct access to the rear deck and makes comfortable one-level living possible.

Bedroom 2: Upstairs Primary Suite
The upstairs primary suite includes a king bed, twin bed, private ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet.

Bedroom 3: Upstairs Queen Bedroom
The third bedroom includes a queen bed and convenient access to the upstairs hallway full bathroom.

Outdoor Spaces
Spacious Rear Deck: The large rear deck overlooks the wooded backyard and offers a peaceful space for coffee or meals on the large dining table with built-in banquet seating on the deck.

Private Wooded Backyard: Mature trees create a quiet, private backdrop while the home remains convenient to Charlottesville shopping, dining and employment centers. As with any natural wooded setting, guests may encounter seasonal leaves, insects and local wildlife.

Covered Front Porch
The covered porch offers a second outdoor sitting area with protection from direct sun or light rain. It offers adirondack chairs & a bench swing for lounging.


Home Layout
This thoughtfully furnished 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath home offers two primary suites, three full bathrooms, a main-level half bathroom and flexible sleeping arrangements for extended stays. The mudroom doubles as the laundry room with a side by side Washer/Dryer.


This home is not pet friendly and, like all Orso Blu Stays homes, there is no smoking of any kind.
This is a midterm rental so 30 day minimum stay required.

OTHER INFORMATION:
All bed linens and towels are provided. The bathroom has extra toilet paper and there are laundry tabs provided should you need to do laundry during your stay. Coffee and sugar are provided for your use as well. The trash and recycling cans are behind the home, and they need to be set at the end of the driveway for trash pickup. Trash pickup is every Monday, trash and recycling every other Monday.

Guests are responsible for refilling the propane tank for the grill as needed during their stay. Orso Blu Stays is not responsible for providing any propane for the grill. Monthly utility costs of up to $350 are included in the rental rate. Any utility usage exceeding $350 per month will be charged to the guest. For stays shorter than a full month, the utility allowance will be prorated based on the length of the reservation.

Check out is at 11 AM at the end of your stay.
We would greatly appreciate it if you could start a load of bath & kitchen towels before you leave in the washing machine. Please run the dishwasher with any remaining dirty dishes before you depart. Dishwasher tabs are provided under the sink. You do not need to unload the dishwasher before you leave.
